On our way home to Negara, we had a long journey that took about three and a half hours, including a stop in Yehleh. The traffic was heavy, making the trip feel even longer. This trip marked the end of my kids' holiday, so we wanted to make the most of our time together
We took a 20-minute break in Yehleh, a convenient stopover for many travelers. The small shops by the roadside were busy with people unwinding and taking a rest from their journeys. We visited some of these shops and admired the beautiful beach nearby. The bull race monument caught our attention, reminding me of the bull race in Nagara that I wrote about before. Many people were taking photos of the statues and the beach landscape, making the area feel lively.
Despite it being late in the day, around five o'clock, we saw people enjoying the beach as the sun was about to set, creating a beautiful scene. Yehleh is located between Tabanan Regency and Negara Regency, and we still had about thirty kilometers to go before reaching home.
We took a quick restroom break and then ordered some delicious meatball soup. We enjoyed our meal while watching the waves crash on the shore. This short stop was a refreshing break from the long drive.
Our trip started in Denpasar, where my family and I had been on holiday. Denpasar is about two hours away from Yehleh in the other direction. Despite the long journey and traffic, the stopover in Yehleh made it worthwhile.
