Before pandemic last 2020, we had an Asean grocery with Filipino product in my workplace but when pandemic arrived, many establishments were affected and declared bankruptcy. So we need to go the city and need to drive for 1 hour so we already missed eating Filipino product. Paying taxi added expenses and I didn't like riding taxi in this place alone.
I went to my bank where I was sending my money and we did it quickly via telemoney, Its the Filipino way of sending money
Lately, we heard that there is an Indian national who open asean product. It includes Filipino product so we tried What a lucky day, the time we sent money, I found it adjacent to the bank we have remittance.
I paid 140SR, Saudi Riyal.1 riyal is 14.85PH.
The stuffs are so expensive, I didn't want to spend that amount for my own only. But I miss our product. There are so many Filipina who are not allowed to go out but my group of friends are so lucky that their employers trusted me when they are outside.
When we were inside the grocery store,I guarded my friend and each them if they will be exchanging phone numbers. That could be the beginning of a problem if I give them chance to mingle each other. If they are single, I am out of that matters but I know that they are married in the Philippines. I do not allow them to be with other person here. If they do it, I will not go with them anymore. I warn them from the start. They can do it without my company. I would never tolerate anyone to do against the rules. I don't want that the trust of my employer's clan will be broken because of their action.
What I Bought There?
The amount two thousand pesos in the Philippines could feed 2 children in one week. I closed my eyes, I was tempted to buy for me though I have food at home. I have Arabic foods our boss shared to us. Craving a Filipino product is not bad. We work to earn and we should taste the fruit of our labor sometimes.
I will cooked Biko tomorrow or during the birthday of my grandchild Olivia.
I already cooked the string beans and squash yesterday.
That's all for today and more stories next time.
