Hello aseanhivers! I'm here again for another interesting blog to share with you all. Yesterday was the teacher's day celebration at my kid's school. A week ago, I already booked a piece of slit cake from our neighbor so I can give something for the teacher.
I ordered two for us to taste and for the teacher. It arrived that morning and it was so small. I tasted it it was delicious but buttered cream is not my favorite. So I decided to gave her a box of groceries. I went to a nearby sari-sari store to buy something.
I bought something she can use. These are the groceries I need at home and I believe she uses it too. These are just very few in number but I believe she can use it. Flowers and other souvenirs may best for a gift but this time I want to give someone that is useful in a practical way.
This empty small box was from my parcel delivered here at home and I never threw it because I knew I can use it in the future. I also bought a bondpaper just to make a shredded paper and a cartolina paper for covering the whole box.
I bought a lighter and a stick glue and I started to make it as fast as I can. It was already 8 in the morning and the class will start at 9 am.
First I cleaned the box and put the shredded paper first.
Then I separate the laundry groceries in a cellophane because those have strong smell and not good to be mix with the food. Then I placed it first making it at the bottom.
Then I placed everything making sure it can perfectly fit in the box and topped it with gummy candies.
Then I secured the box with stick glue then covered it with the pink cartolina. It's a struggle to cover this so big because I'm not good at it hahaha but I tried my best.
Then I put a little flower on top so it won't look dry. It was my first time making this flower in this way because I really don't know how to make it. It's just run in my imagination. And also put two text boxes for my kid's dedication.
And we took a bath and went to school without breakfast hahaha. But I gave biscuits to my kids when we arrived at school and also we ate the other cake so it must be considered a breakfast though. I saw some of the parent gave her a gift too. She was smiling and I knew she was happy even though she isn't feeling well. I hope she's happy in our gift. That's a very little gift I can gave. It's very difficult to teach kids ages 2 to 5 years old, surely exhausting and this way we can make her smile in a little way.
To all the teachers out there. Happy teachers month and wishing you all to have more power and strength. You are the builders of the future. Salute 👩🏫
