Last cozy Saturday was an ordinary day for us. Because winter is coming and we need to buy winter things for kids. Especially now that Aya is getting taller and her last year for winter clothes was too small for her.
It was like a day for our family, shopping, Aya’s ski and groceries too.
In the morning, we woke up late around 9 AM then had our breakfast. Then we need to prepare ourselves for family weekend errands. When we were all set, we headed to Nové Zámky, our destination for Saturday shopping .

Our first mission was planned for weeks by my husband. Aya’s ski equipment for her upcoming ski activities. I know Aya was a little scared because she was not good at it. She tried it last year and she really needs to learn. Because some schools here have their ski activities. And it is not good if she doesn't know how to ski. If they have ski activities and there is a trainor, it is ok. But for my husband, she wants Aya to enjoy skiing and not need a trainer.

And next month, we will have our trip. And my husband wants her to learn the basics. especially balancing and sliding safely. What counts is the confidence and experience she builds. And soon she will love sports and carry more memories . Three of them will be skiing and I will cheer for Aya. I really don't like winter and cannot stay outside longer.
The staff was checking Aya’s ski equipment. And it is important that everything is properly prepared. Especially her ski bindings that needed a little polishing to make them look new. He also adjusted it for her to stay safe on the slopes. And everything is ready for next month's adventure on the snow.

Winter shopping for the kids was our second mission. The season is coming soon that we need proper jackets, gloves, boots that will protect us from so cold and harsh weather. It's about the excitement, finding their own style, colors they like and more.
We went to New Yorker first and searched for something they like. My husband wanted to stay in the coffee shop and he doesn't like shopping at all.

We're already in Nové Zámky and we need to go to the other shops to checked other things. They brought more stuff and ended up in Sinsay. They get what they need and fit the clothes.
Lots of good stuff, even Christmas decorations they want. I don't even notice how much time we spend in the mall. One store to another. After they choose their stuff they fall in line and pay.

I thought it was done, but they wanted to buy something. Each of them has a budget for their things. They took our time choosing the right pieces. As a mom, I wanted them to feel comfortable and happy with what they picked.
And they still have some money to spend on other things. As soon as they finished and we were all so hungry. That our stomach reminded us that it was definitely time to eat.

We decided to keep it simple. By grabbing a burger and fries.
We parked our car, ate together inside the car, laughed, shared stories, and enjoyed our meal. It wasn't a fancy lunch and made everyone happy.

Going back to Komárno, we made our one last stop at Lidl for the essentials we needed at home. Just my husband and I went inside Lidl and the kids stayed in the car.
We walked through each aisle picking up essentials we needed. We had everything we needed and headed to the counter to pay.
We packed everything into the car. And finally it was time to go home. We were a bit tired, happy and satisfied from our Saturday errands.
Saturdays like this remind me of memories made with people we love and that make life extra special.
