Greetings Hivers! What’s with you today? Are all good? Well, let me share to you what arises with me these past few days. I used to stay at home. Do some household chores, watch movies, doing some writing stuff for the blogs. To the point that I forgot one thing that is very important to my health, to do some exercises. I know I’m not that healthy because some years ago I had a Myocardial Ischemia. This is a lack of blood flow to my heart. My Doctor once said, I had to do some regular movements like walking, swimming, light jogging. It can help my heart use oxygen better and improves blood flow. Last week, I’ve experienced a slight on and off chest pain but didn’t bother about it. Last Sunday night I felt it again but this time it takes longer. and I’m a bit worried. It crossed into my mind the things that I haven’t done lately, the exercises.
My husband told to have a little walk yesterday morning. It happened that his office will start at 10am. We went out of the building and done our walking activity. Taking a walk is one of the simplest form to improve our heart healthy but sometimes we take this for granted. We neglect it when life gets busy and other responsibilities takes priority. It doesn’t need to be a long workout, a quick 20 to 30 minutes walk around the block is better than nothing.
Our place is in Industrial City, as we had our walk, there are so many big trucks parked on each side of the streets. Some of them are vans. In this area, there are buildings under constructions. That’s why sometimes, I don’t want to walk because it’s too dusty and it triggers my allergies.
But this time, I had to do the walking. Its slight windy and the cool breeze air embrace the surroundings. The sunlight warms our face, it uplifts our energy that makes our steps more faster The sunlight also helps us to produce vitamin D which is essential for healthy heart, strong bones and overall well-being. While walking I took photos of the surroundings that we passes by to enjoy the moment, I felt the dust swirling around me and the fumes of those trucks gets into my nose.
We continue walking, heading to new directions where the air was clearer and free from smog. It’s not the usual ground but had to take, I felt like a small sense of relief from dust and smoke.
As we are approaching in our building, I feel the happiness and fulfillment. The sense of satisfaction knowing that I have given time for my heart to be healthy. Thank you to my husband who always nurtured and there for me. Now, I will never neglect my exercises. I will do it 3 times a week. A reminder to myself, even if it's a short walk it can help your heart healthy.
This is all for now. I hope you will support my story and upvote.😊
Thank you!!!
