My comeback in here is not that bad. And it so much good to me, because it means that you are all there to continue to support me. And because of this, I'm so boosted to share again. This time I will share with you all the "Holy Week Southern Leyte Escapade 2025" that we had last April 19-20, 2025. It's Black Saturday and Easter Sunday.
This thing was already planned last year with our Fam at Heart Friends. We started this Holy Week Escapade last year. And our trip last year was in Biliran. In this trip our families is with us. But the count of it in every family is as one when we paid everything.
And so last year we planned already on what destination we might went. And we decided at "Southern Leyte". But that time we haven't yet an exact place to were to go, until this March came. We had a meeting and everything was talked/discussed in it. From time, the places were to go and the accommodation. So here we goes our Eterinary.
Two days before Black Saturday, we bought some food and things that we might be needed on the trip. And as were all set, the day of the trip came.
We woke up so early around 3AM because the call time to were we meet was 4AM. Yes it's that so early because it's southern part of leyte and the very last place or Barangay of Southern Leyte. This place is called "Tangkaan Beach Resort". It was our first destination.
We do love beach so we decided to choose this place, because it's the "Litte Boracay" of the Province of Leyte.
And before we reach the said place we stopped first on the Highest Bridge in the Philippines called "Agas-Agas Bridge", since you will pass here to reach Tangkaan. We took several photos in it. It's indeed the highest bridge. If you had a fear of heights don't waste your time to look up on it, because it might kill you (lol).
After that we proceed to our destination. The place was so amazing. The cold breeze of the wind and the beautiful view of the ocean welcome us so big. There are lots of people already. Some are foreigners and some came from different part of the towns.
There's an entrance fee worth 15 pesos per head. We rent table and chairs too so that we can put our food there. We eat our lunch right after we prepared the food. And after eating we start to take photos groufies and selfies, to the beautiful spot, especially the trademark of Tangkaan which is the famous "Padre Burgos".
We left here at around 4PM and were now going to our next destination which Macrohon. It is were we can stay for an overnight. We brought a Tent also. Since were all set we got the chance to take photos again. It's a girl power. Boys are busy drinking beer.
It's ended a very good day. We had a goos night sleep and woke up with a smile on our lips. It's Easter Sunday and were on our way home. But before that we stopped on our one purpose on this ride. Is to visit one of the famous miraculous cave in Leyte. "MONTE CUEVA" in Maasin Leyte.
Before you can pray and asked what you wanted, you will first step on the stairs. I don't know how many steps are there before you can reach it. Yeah reach, because the said cave is on the top of the mountain.
All your tiredness are all worth it once you reach there. We lighted a candle and pray and asked what we asked the most. But we didn't promised to came back, instead we say if we can come back why not, as long as we can.
After that we ride going back home. Were all tired for that trip but we enjoy a lot from us and then the kids. It's another memory that we can cheries and never be forgotten. Were not only friends but were Family in our Hearts.
