Welcome, hivers. I understand it has been a long time, but please be patient with me because I am always busy with life and work. I have several blogs to upload, and I haven't even finished my trip to Korea yet, but hear me out: this gal has just returned from vacation and is eager to share some of the things I did while I wasn't blogging.
Let me tell you about my recent Thailand trip. I had been looking forward to this trip and to visiting Thailand ever since, but my plans were derailed by other vacations that my friends and I had planned. I've been wanting to travel to Thailand for a long time, so I get pretty excited whenever I see posts about it here. It was a plan or something that was postponed. One of my friends who had her visa denied last year following my trip to Korea was extremely keen to have her passport stamped; perhaps this would help her get a visa the next time she applied.
She intends to travel to Singapore or Thailand, but I advised her that Thailand would be a better option because it is simpler to get through immigration. She said, "All right, we're going to Thailand." We asked a few of our friends if they wanted to travel, but just one said yes, so there are now three of us. Some of them had other commitments and priorities. I was the one who planned everything and looked for less expensive hotels and flights. I purchased the flight in March, during Cebu Pacific's Piso Sale. I will provide the total price we spent in Thailand, including flight, hotel, and tour packages. The flight happened from October 8 to 12, 2024. It was a brief journey for me, but it was worthwhile. Going back to our vacation, as there is no direct connection from Cebu to Bangkok, we booked another flight to Manila. We also booked a hotel near the airport to ensure that we would not be late for our trip and needed to arrive hours early to provide adequate time for immigration.
I didn't expect a long line at immigration, but we're glad we arrived early so we could go get some breakfast. We were waiting for our flight and fell asleep because we were so early. Our flight has been delayed. Our flight is scheduled for 7:45 a.m., but due to a delay, we boarded at 10:35 a.m. and will depart at 11 a.m. We landed safely and headed to our hotel. I'll share it here, and we were quite fortunate that our hotel was located in the heart of Bangkok and within walking distance of several establishments.
I'll be back with more specifics, including airfare and tour package rates, in the next blog; however, I took the screenshot on the other phone, so I'll have to cut this blog short. I hope to see you on my next blog.
