I feel like I'm starting to actuly get these, I'm making use of my canvas being able to flip, rotate, zoom out and such.
Overall I'm really starting to enjoy these instead of finding them painful like it was.

I think the grids help, you got all the details exactly like the reference image
It very much does help! It's also helping me very concrete see what the real relationships between different features are instead of trying to eyeball it.
