I actually drew this from a photo I took.
I'm actually really pleased with how this turned out. Working off my own phot(which doesn't really have the kinda details I tend to try to stick hard to) The hair tufts just turned out so fun.
First step was the sketch. As you can probably tell I changed the legs a fair bit.
Then theres some blue.
Then the first of the fluff. Which I had so much fun making.
I tried to get the background to feel like the wood flooring from the reference. I did totes mess up the one leg shadow. ><
Adding the little proboscis to the face made me happy.
I fixed the shadow!
Then twaked a few more things and called it done.
