Another Little Garden Update 🪴 : A Pretty Orchid Surprise 💜

Hello Hive gardeners and orchid lovers!! 🌺
I'm back with another garden update.. 🌱
I wanna be honest,, it's mostly an orchid update,, because those beautiful plants are full of surprises 😁

The Big, Bright Pink Surprise 💗

Last time, I showed off my big Vanda blooms, but now, my Cattleya orchid is here to steal the show!! And it completely surprised me.. 😁

Just a few days ago,, I peeked at the plant and saw only a tiny bit of green bud..
I thought, "Oh,, a little bud is starting" but look at it now!!
It's fully open and so bright and pretty..

The flowers are a deep, almost neon pink,, 💗
and they look like they are made of soft velvet..
They have that perfect classic orchid shape,, big, open and cheerful..
The color is so rich and it pops right out against the wide bright green leaves around it..
It just makes me smile to see such a huge burst of color arrive so fast!!

A lone beauty and a lesson in life 😁

Then there's my other little orchid and this one made me a little bit sad at first..
It only has one flower hanging from a single thin strand.. Just one! 😔
I was like, "Really? All that work for just one flower?" 😩

But as I looked closer at that lone bloom,, I changed my mind..

This single flower is a mix of pink and white with beautiful detailed lines all over the petals..
It hangs gently from a thin branch with tall palm trees standing proudly in the background..
It may be alone but it is a perfect little beauty..
It's proof that even if you're struggling or not at your best,,
you can still bloom and show the world your unique self..
It’s a real little blessing.. 😊

I still have a lot of waiting to do..

You can see all my hanging plant nets (the wire baskets) and bamboo plant stands that are full of green leaves but no buds or flowers yet..
This just means I have more surprises to come!!
Every day I go outside to check them and it feels like waiting for a tiny gift to open..
Gardening teaches you to be patient but it always pays off with a burst of color when you least expect it.. 😊
