Hello dear Hive gardeners of this community! How are you doing!I'm hoping you're doing good and well.
Today I'm gonna share to you one of the highlight activity in our school was to create a small "Gulayan sa Paaralan".This was being initiated by our coordinator. In line with the curriculum offered in TLE which is Agriculture. This gives us the opportunity to explore the world of gardening.

I appreciate so much this curriculum because you can really see that agriculture is one of the beautiful offerings in junior high school. It teaches the learners on how to be a good nurturer of nature.

One of the highlight in this activity is the ability to innovate and recycled this water bottles into a plant pots.A lot of water bottles were collected.

$1
We created holes in the empty bottled at the bottom of it.We lighted some woods and created a little fire.We heated some metals to easily create some holes at the bottom.

$1
This empty bottles were very useful because seeds were sow and after a week of sowing it developed and grow into seedlings.

$1
Tomatoes grown easily in this area. The seedlings were being transferred already from its container.

$1
We're transplanting the seedlings into the recycled pots.

Spinach, tomatoes and lemon grass were be seen in our school garden

I'm so happy seeing these plants started to grow and developed.

Agriculture subject taught the students on how to select a good type of soil, apply a natural fertilizer on plants. We used animal manure as a natural fertilizer on plants.

It's so timely that in this quarter were more focused on this curriculum the Agriculture. It helped the students learned how to do the basic in planting vegetables.

$1
We're using these as our seedboxe. The seeds were being sown in this recycled box.
I really appreciate the beauty of Agriculture as one of the specialized course offered by Deped.Through this course the learners were taught how to love the gardening activity.

Ramgo seeds are one of the best quality when it comes to choosing of seeds to sow. These seeds were given by my students. They volunteered to donate this in our gulayan sa paaralan.Good thing that our place experienced rainy season.Plants were just growing easily and quickly.Less maintenance will be given to these kind of plants.

This would be all for now until in our next visit in our garden.See you in my next garden journey.

@jocabanero4 Thank you sis..thank you for reblogging my post

You're welcome sisy 😘

😘😘😘😘🥰

This is one of the best way to recycle those plastics, it is good that there is still a curriculum like this nowadays. I remember when we are highschool and elementary we always have gardens in school and as a farmers daughter we make sure that our plants or crops are healthy and can produce more yields than others. So we make it as competition of course hehe. We are a farmers daughters so we have the advantage than those professional son and daughter. Actually this has a big impact to the students nowadays because once they learn how to recycle and plant then they can apply as well in their life one day or at their home. Salute to all teachers who are making all efforts to teach their students about agriculture.

Wow thank you teach for commenting by!Yeah hopefully on the next year is still the same curriculum will be offered because I find this course very helpful.. Agriculture is the backbone of the economy without farmers, people will have no food on their table to eat...that's why salute to all farmers out there!🤗🤗

@chinito hello...I'm a bit okay now.Yesterday my whole body most especially my knees were trembling due to worry and fear.Ive felt again how this earthquake aftershocks bring people so much nervous.
Anyways,Yeah I'm very much excited to join and be a part of this Filipino hive, that's a pleasure to us if you help us to be on top..Looking forward on that@ chinito🤗

FOH! LABAN!! :)

Aja!Fighting😁

This reminds me of my high school days when we were also asked to plant okra and other vegetables in school. It was such a fun experience, especially seeing our plants grow. Nowadays, many students aren’t interested in gardening anymore because they spend most of their time on gadgets. That’s why this kind of school activity is really a great advantage it teaches them how to plant even using recycled materials.

True teach! You have to thoroughly watch the students carefully if they're really learning how to do gardening. If not then lot of seedlings will be wasted if you're watchful of the students behavior during the activity.
