Greetings human gamers, how’s it going…
Currently, FORTNITE has a short Battle Pass from the Star Wars Saga, while the main one which will last for a few months is coming in just a few days. But today I want to give you my opinion about this pass and some possible use cases depending on the kind of player you are. That said, let’s get started:
BUYING IT
Well, if that’s your choice, you’ll get 4 skins (each with an extra style), pickaxes, and gliders all themed around the Star Wars Saga, and you’ll recover the full amount of V Bucks you spend.
However, you do need to have some free time, since this is a short pass and you’ll need to play more if you want to get all the rewards and styles. You’ll have to complete several missions to unlock everything and make your purchase worth it.
I’m not a huge fan of this saga, but I know those who love this iconic brand will definitely appreciate it.
NOT BUYING IT
This has been my choice this season, mainly because of time I can't dedicate that much to it (adulting responsibilities) and as I mentioned before, I’m not a big fan of the saga. I do have the V-Bucks to buy it, but the skins just don’t fully convince me.
Still, I’ve played a few matches and got 200 free V-Bucks by completing the free pass at my own pace (there are a few rewards you can get just by playing).
This season, since it’s themed, there are a lot of lightsabers (which I do like) and laser weapons. The good thing about these weapons is they don’t use ammo, but instead have a kind of cooldown before you can shoot again though you can switch to another one and keep shooting while the first cools down (rookie tip hehe).
As for the map, it follows the theme, but in my opinion, it hasn’t changed much. I know they’ve added 2 bosses and some ships, but it still feels like it’s missing something.
Anyway, like I said before, this is like a mini pass while we wait for the next one, which supposedly will change everything.
"A WILD BONUS HAS APPEARED!"
I think the most important thing is to have fun, but if you’re new, you can level up 50 tiers on your pass to get a totally free skin, which in my opinion is one of the best Fortnite has ever given away, along with some cosmetics for the LEGO Fortnite BRICK LIFE subgame which I’ll talk about in future posts.
But hurry the skin and cosmetics are available for a limited time (you’ve got about 3 weeks left), and it’s not that hard to get them.
Oh, and one more thing if you link your Disney account or create one and connect it to your Epic Games account, they’ll also give you a Trooper skin.
Overall, I appreciate that the Fortnite team keeps pushing out so many updates I actually think that’s the secret behind the success of this project, as it’s been around for many years in the industry.
As for whether I recommend buying this pass: based on everything I said, my answer is NO, mainly due to time constraints and because I believe the upcoming pass will be way better and more fun.

Actualmente FORNITE tiene un pase de batalla Corto de la Saga de Star Wars mientras sale dentro de pocos días el grande que durara unos meses. Pero hoy quiero darle mi opinión frente a este pase y que posibles caso de uso podrías darle según el tipo de jugador que eres. Dicho esto comencemos:
COMPRARLO
Bueno pues si esta es tu decisión te encontraras 4 skins ( cada una con un estilo adicional ), picos y alas delta alusivos a la Saga de Star Wars y recuperaras la totalidad de inversión de Pavos.
Eso si debes disponer de buen tiempo libre ya que este pase al ser corto debes jugar más si quieres obtener todas las recompensas y estilos deberás completar varias misiones para ir desbloqueando las recompensas para que no pierdas tu inversión.
No soy muy fan de esta Saga pero se que los que les gusta esta temática de esta iconica marca lo sabrán valorar.
NO COMPRARLO
Este ha sido mi camino en esta temporada mas que todo por la cuestión del tiempo ya que no puedo dedicarle tanto ( responsabilidades de adulto ) y como dige anteriormente no soy muy fan de este Saga, tengo los pavos para comprarlo pero no me convencen del todo las skins.
Pero si he jugado algunas partidas y he obtenido 200 pavos gratis por ir completando el pase free a mi ritmo ( hay algunas recompensas que puedes obtener solo por jugar ).
Este temporada al estar de esta temática hay mucho sable de luz ( eso si me gusta ) y armas laser; lo bueno de dichas armas es que no tienen munición, sino una especie de enfriamiento para poder disparar de nuevo, pero puedes cambiar por otra para disparar mientras se enfría la otro ( tips de novato jeje ).
En cuanto al mapa sigue con la temática,pero desde mi punto de vista no ha cambiado mucho. Se que han agregado 2 jefes y naves , pero siento que falto mas cosas. Igual como dige anteriormente este es como mini pase mientras llega el próximo que según dicen va cambiarlo todo.
BONUS
Creo que lo mas importante es divertirte, pero si eres nuevo puedes subir 50 niveles en tu pase para obtener totalmente gratis esta skin que para mi es de las mejores que han regalado en FORNITE como también algunos cosméticos para el subjuego LEGO FORNITE BRICK LIFE del que hablare en futuros post. Pero apresúrate que dicha skin y cosméticos son por tiempo limitado (te quedan alrededor de 3 semanas) y no es tan complicado hacerlo. Ah otra cosa si vinculas tu cuenta de disney o creas una y la vinculas con tu cuenta de epic Games tambien te daran una skin de un trooper.
En general valoro que el equipo de Fornite le meta tantas actualizaciones a su juego, es mas pienso que ese ha sido el éxito de este proyecto, ya que lleva muchos años en la industria. En cuanto si recomiendo comprar este pase con todo lo dicho mi respuesta es un NO, mas que todo por el factor tiempo y porque creo que el pase que sale en unos días va a ser mucho mejor y mas divertido.
