I'm following a strategy that closly resembles yours, even if lately I'm focusing a lot on improving my fortifications (I was getting attacked too much). I was completely ignoring Reputation, though, which instead looks like something you are focusing on a lot! I'll try to improve my routine and dedicate some parts to it in the future :)

Out of interest did increasing your fortification help much ?
Yup, it's making a huge difference: I get still attacked, but way less than before. However I have a much smaller stash than yours, so it may be different at your level.
