A Casual Look at This Week’s Splinterlands Brawl

in FreeCompliments5 days ago

Hello, fellow Splinterlands warriors!
Welcome back to my weekly story—this time about my latest BRAWL experience with my beloved guild, ClaNFT. I hope you’re all still pumped to fight, even though Q4 this year doesn’t look as glowing as the Q4s of previous years in the crypto world. SPS is still wobbling, HIVE isn’t too aggressive either—but hey, we’re players, and we always keep pushing in the arena.

⚔️ A Little About the Brawl & This Week’s Results

For anyone new: Brawl is a guild-vs-guild battle mode where each member joins a specific fray depending on the card types allowed there. It’s like a mini internal tournament full of surprises—sometimes easy, sometimes scary, sometimes making you facepalm hard.

This week’s Brawl felt a bit more brutal than usual. From the 5 battles I played, I ended up with 3 losses. My opponents were seriously tough—their monsters were high-level, some used Archon with terrifying stats, and their team compositions were impressively tight. Luckily, I managed to steal a few wins too, including one that I got because my opponent fled from the match.

Despite the rough run, I still managed to contribute some key points, and here’s the final result:
👉 ClaNFT finished in 3rd place!
With rewards:

  • 2,300 Merits
  • 31.135 Staked SPS

Pretty solid for a Brawl full of drama like this!

🎁 Favorite Moment: Opening 3 Gladius Packs

As always, right after the Brawl, I checked my total Merits. This time, after combining them with the leftover Merits plus a bit extra from the shop, I finally had enough to open 3 Gladius Packs again!

If you’re curious, here’s the link to the pack opening:

👉 OPEN PACKS

This week’s pack results:

  • 2 Rare cards
  • 1 Epic card (yay! 🥳)
  • The rest were Commons

Honestly, the results were similar to the “Major Chest & Minor Chest” luck I had previously—decent, but nothing earth-shattering. Still, pack opening always has its own hype. That mix of excitement and anxiety… and when that Epic card pops up? It feels like hitting a mini jackpot.

What made it even better was that the Epic Edith I pulled finally became upgradeable, and now she has Cleanse! This ability is super important in many rulesets, so I’m really happy with this small but impactful upgrade.

I also checked my overall Gladius collection progress.

Still far from complete, but slowly the percentage is climbing. With consistent Brawl participation, the collection will eventually fill up.

🔹 Closing Thoughts & A Little Advice

For new players, joining a guild is honestly one of the fastest ways to grow:

  • You learn formations & strategies from more experienced players
  • You get access to Gladius Packs
  • You gain motivation to keep joining Brawls
  • You have a place to ask questions when you’re confused about certain rulesets

Brawl isn’t just about winning or losing—it’s about growing together with a solid community.

That’s my story from this week’s Brawl and my Gladius Pack opening. The results weren’t explosive, but every week brings progress, new stories, and new cards that make the game even more fun.

If you’re still playing solo, join a guild now. Brawling isn’t just fun—it’s essential for your account’s long-term growth. The bonus? You’ll gain tons of battle buddies along the way.

See you in the next Splinterlands story!
Keep fighting, keep grinding, and hopefully next season shines even brighter ✨⚔️
