Hello Fellow dCity Major.
Long time no see buddy, the last time I update my dCity account was about 28 days ago. So we can say I almost haven't done anything on my account except I keep claiming the Young Citizen NFT(s).
I think I have done the right thing last month, so even with not much notable changes in my account, my dCity keeps growing well. In fact it is growing at the rate I never expect to see that.
Look at my rank right now:
I have breached in top 200 in Income, and it is something that I haven't predicted before. There is another variable right now, which our president has decreased the tax a bit, which result some additional income coming in without having to push up tax refunds.
Now let's look at my dCity account here:
I see my dCity is running well, all the number looks good except there are too many unemployment right now. However it is not the unemployment that I worry about, I could just buy some building NFT(s). It is the Students!
I have 100 Student NFT(s) and actually that is good. I get 100 tax refunds from them, and it is good to have plenty of students. So right now I have to prepare for the risk of having students. Let see these two cards below:

After a student gets older, with some few months, they will become Student with Debt. at this point each of them will consume more income and instead of giving a tax refund, they will reduce a tax refund.
So this is the risk of having big amount of Students. One day the will consume a big chunk your income and eat other cards tax refunds. When they are getting these debts, you must bail them so they can be a people card. However this will be troublesome if you are not online everyday, like me here. So there are two ways to fight these risks:
- You keep getting new Student cards, this is a must. Once you stop, you will accumulated old students.
- You make sure your Base Income is very huge and won't be affected at all.
Keep Pumping Income
Today I have decided that I will do the lame thing, which is to keep pumping my Income which I have been doing that last month. There is nothing wrong with getting too much Income, in fact it is great!! So let's go!
I just realized something here. There isn't anyone dumping 3rd edition Music Store, Barber Shop and Ice Cream Shop anymore. Their price have spiked very high. I usually bought them below 1.000 $SIM and right now the cheapest is 1.750 $SIM.
Eventhough I have decided to buy at that price, I still have another problem. There are only 7 copies NFT in the market. So like it or not, I only buy 7 or all of them.
This makes my dCity still having 33 unemployment population. I want to push the unemployment below 10 population, because I believe I still have a new batch of Student from my young citizen population.
So I have decided this time I add a couple of Universities. They are not cheap but I haven't had them in my dCity.
I spend almost 8.000 $SIM and hopefully this helps my grow...

I won't count how much I have spent today, but I will review what I have done today. Overall, There is not much changes in my dCity account, except my popularity has grown well today, around 6% from total popularity.
My Education points actually has shown good increase, almost doubled but it says nothing for now. It is still below 80 points which is the minimum value we need to have to trigger the odds of getting free technology. Another thing here is that the rank in Education doesn't change a lot.
So I think it is a wrong move for me to buy the last two NFT(s), which are the universities. I should have focused more on popularity, or maybe push more on Education.
That's the thing I learn today, so next time I will focus more on one thing and try to make a big impact there, rather than distribute the growth.
