The Daily Flame

The #DailyFlame post acts as some proof that I braaied (aka BBQ for our international friends) today.

For those of you that don't know me, that is sort of my thing... Yes... I "braai" every single day... check out my website for more about that: https://braaiboy.co.za/about-braaiboy/

... but then almost more importantly, this post will also act as a bit of encouragement for you to do the same, and share the results of you doing so in the comments below.

For those of you that go to the effort of sharing a braai/BBQ picture in the comments, I'll be picking a random winner to win 1 x HSBI share.

As of Fri (12 Jan) we're going to be open from 06h00 for breakfast at @bbbistros in Irene... You're welcome to braai of course, or come grab a breakfast and a coffee. The 1st 25 x lounge members also get a free pre-roll with their member's breakfast.

Please remember the lounge is 420-friendly, so unfortunately no under-18s please

P.S. This video is from yesterday's #DailyFlame, but I couldn't upload videos from mobile... so I'm trying it again from desktop today. Did you know that @ecency allows us to upload videos directly to posts (using @threespeak) ... curious to see what this ends up looking like on the blockchain.

When I checked for your post yesterday, you didn't have it written yet and forgot afterwards 🙈

Here I am again though! :D
Today I went to the supermarket for pulled pork. We had some leftover wraps from yesterday and wanted to throw some pulled pork inside together with some cold leftover vegetables. I went to the biggest supermarket in town as the smaller ones definitely don't have it. I ran around in the fridge area 3 times as I couldn't find it. On their website it was stated that ghey had it. Finally ended up asking it, apparently this particular shop didn't had it at all in their assortment... Went home with some normal chicken. If I would have had the possibility to braai, I could have made my own pulled pork..

Re posting: Yeah... unfortunately the timing of the #DailyFlame posts is going to be random. Depends on where I'm braaing for the day... the weekends will more often than not be during the afternoon at some or other event or client... during the week, it could literally be anything from a morning, afternoon or evening braai at my Bistro... or sometimes a VERY late braai (I've had to light a fire at 23h50 before to make it before the 00h00 deadline... so yeah, you'll just have to keep an eye open... or use @ginabot to send you a discord notification every time I post ;-)

Re Pulled Pork: YUM!!!! I do a LOT of pulled pork and you'll be seeing a lot of those pics coming through as soon as events start again in Feb or so.

yeah... @ginabot was a game-changer back in the "old days" on the legacy chain... she's still pretty cool and useful though, even though our UIs nowadays have taken a lot of her job away ;-)

Did you try to publish post/draft made on website from mobile app? Our mobile app doesn't support video upload yet. New version with support coming sometime next week.

I created the draft (with video) via web... then I took the pic, opened the same draft on mobile, uploaded the pic, and posted via mobile.

Yes, that's what we thought. Mobile publishing doesn't understand video uploads yet. Please use web only for video uploads until our next mobile app version.
