The Daily Flame

The #DailyFlame post acts as some proof that I braaied (aka BBQ for our international friends) today.

For those of you that don't know me, that is sort of my thing... Yes... I "braai" every single day... check out my website for more about that: https://braaiboy.co.za/about-braaiboy/

... but then almost more importantly, this post will also act as a bit of encouragement for you to do the same, and share the results of you doing so in the comments below.

For those of you that go to the effort of sharing a braai/BBQ picture in the comments, I'll be picking a random winner to win 1 x HSBI share.

My Bistro closes early on a Monday, and my degenerate neighbours are still on holiday... so I figured I'd take it easy with a quick charcoal fire with some boeries for dinner... GUESS AGAIN boy!

This was obviously/assumedly left in there from New Year's... so THANKS to whoever put those in there and forgot them 🤮
Fortunately I have more than 1 braai at home... so that's a problem for another day 🔥🔥🔥

As a colleague is leaving us soon, we went together for a lunch. It was a japonese restaurant. So I had to find out if a Japanese bbq exists. In fact it does. Hereby a picture of a Japanese bbq, called 'yakiniku'.

Feel free to tell me if one day you wouldn't accept google images anymore. I try to atleast add a 'story' to them though ^^

No worries... while I build some momentum on #DailyFlame, I appreciate all the engagement. Of course, if you just drop some rando pic from google on here you won't be eligible... but as long as you add your 2 cents it's cool... until end of Jan (or until the real-world sponsor comes onboard... whichever comes first).

As you can see there @braaiboy, we have some lekker pork rashers and chops. Top that off with some garlic brood. My wife loves garlic bread. Its already there on the grid otherwise I braai all the meat and I forget the brood in the fridge. This way, it gets a bit more mid temp and I never forget the thing.
