Un saludo querida familia de @womentribe, es increíble como pasa el tiempo y ya estamos en diciembre, ese mes de alegría y nostalgia que de alguna manera nos unvade a quienes extrañamos personas que están lejos o que ya no están con nosotros,sin embargo siempre se dice y es muy cierto que recordar es vivir.
Hoy quiero recordar tres cosas que hacíamos en navidad y ahora no es igual a los años anteriores, muchas veces pasa que ya no estamos cerca de nuestra familia o quizás nos hemos distanciado un poco, por mi parte siento que cuando mueren las cabezas de familia muchas personas se separan o se alejan, o quizás crecimos y cada quien con su nueva familia quiere implementar sus nuevas costumbres.
Cena con Toda la Familia
Recuerdo cuando era pequeña siempre nos reuníamos en casa con la familia de mi madre y hacíamos entre todos una cena navideña, habían que unir tres o cuatro mesas y una aparte para los niños, éramos tantos que no cambiamos en las mesas quizás unos cenaban primero y otros luego, pero lo que más extraño era ver a toda la familia reunida.
Venían los tíos de Valencia, de Barquisimeto, y claro los que vivian cerca también estaban con sus esposas o esposos, siempre se agregaba alguien a la familia y claro que todos eran bienvenidos, además siempre alguien aportaba algo para la cena y entre todos colaboramos todo era genial, una reuní de mucha familia, eso es algo que extraño, ya que ahora solo estamos nosotros mi familia y yo, cuando mucho 6 en mesa, ahora sobran las sillas y eso deja un sentimiento de nostalgia.
Los juegos antes de los Intercambios de regalo.
Uff a quien no les gustan los juegos, a mi me encantan, y es que siempre hay una tía divertida que ponía a toda la familia a jugar y como eramos muchos pues se hacia divertido, jugábamos mimicas, la papa caliente, juegos de mensaje García, entre otros pero recuerdo que eso era para morir de risa, con esta tradición crecí y mis hijos vivieron un poco de esto.
Extraño a la tía divertida que ya no viene en estas fechas, poco a poco cada familia se fue quedando en su hogar, y ya no se hacen estas reuniones como antes, era divertido y para los niños aún más.
Los regalos de Santa Claus
Recuerdo que cuando era niña esa tía divertida que lea hable anteriormente siempre nos traía regalos a todos los niños, aún mis hijos recibieron de estos regaños que cada año ella repartía a todos y cada uno de los niños, ella tiene porque aún tiene un disfraz de Santa Claus y ella se disfrazaba o disfrazaba a cualquiera que pudiera ser Santa y llegaba, no se como lo hacía pero parecía mágico, repartía a cada uno e incluso algunos adultos recibían o hacía rifas para divertir a todos y que se fueran premiados.
Hace unos años a tras a mi esposo le tocó vestirse de Santa, los niños siempre aman a Santa y todos ese día estaban esperando su regalo, son cosas que ya no hacemos y de verdad las extraño, pero lo que más extraño es ver a toda la familia reunida en casa, y ese abrazo del 31 de diciembre al sonar las campanas.

Today I want to remember three things that we did at Christmas and now is not the same as in previous years, often happens that we are no longer close to our family or perhaps we have distanced ourselves a little, for my part I feel that when the heads of family die many people are separated or move away, or maybe we grew up and everyone with their new family wants to implement their new customs.
Dinner with the whole family
I remember when I was little we always met at home with my mother's family and we all made a Christmas dinner, we had to join three or four tables and a separate one for the children, we were so many that we did not change tables, maybe some had dinner first and others later, but what was more strange was to see the whole family together.
The uncles from Valencia, from Barquisimeto, and of course those who lived nearby were also with their wives or husbands, someone was always added to the family and of course everyone was welcome, plus someone always contributed something for dinner and we all collaborated, everything was great, a reunion of a lot of family, that is something I miss, because now there are only my family and I, at most 6 at the table, now there are too many chairs and that leaves a feeling of nostalgia.
Games before Gift Exchanges
Uff who does not like the games, I love them, and there is always a fun aunt who put the whole family to play and as we were many because it was fun, we played mimics, hot potato, Garcia message games, among others but I remember that it was to die laughing, with this tradition I grew up and my children lived a little of this.
I miss the funny aunt that no longer comes on these dates, little by little each family stayed at home, and no longer do these meetings as before, it was fun and for the children even more.
Santa's gifts
I remember when I was a child that funny aunt that I read about before always brought gifts to all the children, even my children received from these scoldings that every year she gave to each and every one of the children, she has because she still has a Santa Claus costume and she would dress up or disguise anyone who could be Santa and would arrive, I don't know how she did it but it seemed magical, she would give to each one and even some adults would receive or make raffles to amuse everyone and they would be rewarded.
A few years ago my husband had to dress up as Santa, the kids always love Santa and everyone that day was waiting for their gift, these are things we don't do anymore and I really miss them, but what I miss the most is to see the whole family gathered at home, and that hug on December 31st when the bells ring.
