A NATURAL THERAPY

in Ecency Supportyesterday

After a week of camping with no Wi-Fi, they all agreed: maybe nature was too relaxing. I had hesitated a bit before accepting the proposal, I have to admit that my world revolves around social networks since the times of pandemic, maybe a little before, but it was in those days where the absolute dependence on a device and a good wifi connection in my house increased the most.

Sitting on a small folding bench, I reaffirmed during those days that really sunrises are a spectacle, no doubt many times we miss these wonders by having our face stuck in a screen. Although once in a while we take a little time to photograph them, but with the idea of uploading them to the networks, not thinking about enjoying the event that Mother Nature gives us.

At times, out of habit, I looked at my cell phone... it said above, “No service”. There were a few days left to return to civilization, sincerely, every moment in that place was worth the sacrifice of a few days away from the virtual world. It was real, the sunrise, the sunsets of many colors, the moon, the stars, the rain that let itself in a couple of times to admire the crystalline impact that it reflected when falling on the stream, not even the mosquitoes could damage the days that passed in the summer camp.

I really didn't want to leave, that direct contact with nature had restored me mentally and emotionally. I was sure I would do it again. It still seemed impossible to have been able to get away from my digital routine, but there I was, in the middle of nowhere, among plants and the sound of a waterfall, and breathing the purest air of my life. Without a doubt, it was going to happen again.
