Splinterlands:Leveling Up the Fire Archon, and My Frontier Battle Results.

in Splinterlands2 days ago (edited)

Hello warriors! With just 3 days to go for the season to come to an end,I resumed my frontier ranked battles.I just concentrated on modern ranked battles because of my GLINTS target.
The decision paid off—I earned free Epic, Rare, and Common cards after completing the daily quest. Winning 15 battles to unlocked all three chests!

Splinterlands is no walk in the park, but that's what amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building. Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! 🔥

At the beginning of the season the count for Gold 1 in frontier was adjusted to 2500.But looking at the screenshot above you can see it is now reading 3,420. With 3 days to end the season,I want to see If I can hit 4,000 and that would be massive for me.

Opening The Chest Rewards

I was so happy with the cards I saw on opening the chest. It contans four(4) rare ,one(1) epic and the rest common cards. Of the 4 rare cards, two were ARCHONS and they are THALGRIMORE and BARTHALAMAS.

My Thalgrimore is fully maxed, while my Barthalamas was on level 2,so with this free card, I was able to push it to level 3.

While the only epic card among the mix, LADY AMARA was upgraded to max level,I had her at level 2 before now.

I am so happy because of the fire archon Barthalamas, upgrading it from level 2 to 3 is a great achievement to me.By upgrading Barthalamas to Level 3, increases its "summoning power" of the card, which allows me to pull monsters at a higher level than previously permitted.
As you level up a summoner:

  • Level Cap Increase: The maximum level for all monsters in your lineup increases, allowing them to utilize better stats and advanced abilities.
  • Scaling Access: You gain access to the higher-tier versions of those fire monsters that were previously "locked" behind the lower summoner level.

Immediately Barthalamas was upgraded the first battle I featured him I won, this is something I have been missing, not enjoying other fire monsters full potential.

Watch This Frontier Battle:

Since my Archon is now upgraded to level 3,I decided to feature it in this battle;

The ruleset for this battle were

All units have camouflage (cannot be directed targeted, unless in the first position). What the community called now you see me.

Aimless:All units with magic and ranged attack has scattershot(magic and ranged attack targets a random enemy units).

The total mana cost for this battle was 25 and you are to choose splinters from fire, earth and death.

My summoner was Barthalamas with+1 speed to all friendly units.

  • in tank position,Frankarsgard with Melee Attack.
  • Position 2 was Agniavan Salamander ranged attack with blast.
  • Last position was for Ember Roast Sow Melee Attack with sneak

My Opponent summoner was Thalgrimore with -1 health on all enemy units.

  • Position 1(tank) Nimguard Captain Melee Attack with Void.
  • Position 2 was Kanaaq Miner, Melee Attack with sneak.
  • Position 3 was Unaki Howler, magic attack.

Round 1,The plan was to use my Agniavan salamander with blast to weakened my opponent monsters and the plan worked each time Salamander lands a blow.

Round 5,the blast from Salamander was devastating all through.

3 against 1, game over.
