Namaste to all the Warriors of Splinterlands!🙏
In this week's 🌟Splinterlands Social Media Challenge🌟 I am going to tell you about a battle that has surprised me the most till date, where you will see how a battle that seemed lost from the beginning till almost the end is won because of some right-wrong choices.
And I assure you that you will enjoy it!😎
The total mana cap for this battle was 28, including the summoner's mana cost as we all know!
Summoner | details |
---|---|
Summenor Obsidian a summoner of the Earth Element is a level 1 summoner whose mana cost was 4. All units with this summoner gain +1 Magic attack. |
Rule set (Noxious Fumes) | Meaning |
---|---|
As its name suggests, it's about noxious poisonous fumes in which all units start the battle poisoned and lose 2 health at the beginning of each round starting from the second round. |
Cards on the battlefield
1st position (Mycelic Slipspawn) | Ability |
---|---|
Mana cost of this card is 9, It is a magic attack card, having 10 health and Taunt ability due to which all enemy units target this if they are able to. |
2nd position (Blackmoor Nymph) | Ability |
---|---|
Mana cost of this card is 3, It's a magic attack card, having 4 health with Immunity Ability. Due to which this unit is immune to negative status effects. |
3rd position (Ujurak Mystic) | Ability |
---|---|
Mana cost of this card is 4, It's a magic attack card, having 3 health 2 shield along with Lookout ability. This means adjacent units receive one less damage from attackers with Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity ability. Additionally all units take half damage from ambushes. |
4th position (Moxian Rebel) | Ability |
---|---|
Mana cost of this card is 4, It's a magic attack card, having 1 health 1 shield along with Weapons Traning ability. This means adjacent units with no attack gain this unit's attack, up to a maximum of 3. |
5th position (Chaos Agent) | Ability |
---|---|
Mana cost of this card is 1, It's a no attack card, having 1 health and no ability. |
6th position (Scavo Hireling) | Ability |
---|---|
Mana cost of this card is 3, It's not an attack card, having 1 health with Repair ability. Which restores a maximum of 2 armour to the friendly unit whose armour has taken the most damage. |
I created my team by using all 28 of my mana caps.
Now I will take you to the battlefield!
This is how the battlefield looked after all the cards received their summoner powers. My summoner gave his team +1 magic attack which the enemy summoner reduced with his power and my cards also lost 1 health. All the enemy cards have relatively high health and 4 of my 6 cards are not even capable of withstanding the first impact of this poisonous ruleset. Looks like I have lost this battle even before it starts.
Now let's see what happens on the battlefield because victory isn't decided until the battle is over!
🔥Round 1
Here, thankfully, the enemy's first-place card got knocked out in a single attack of my first-place card, which is a matter of relief for me because, as I said, my cards don't have enough health to withstand the first effect of this ruleset, so the more enemy cards get knocked out in the first round itself, the better it will be for me.
🔥Round 1 (ended)
This is the view of the end of the first round where you can see that most of the attacks in the enemy and my team have happened on the cards of the first position, after which it can be clearly seen that now due to the effect of poison at the beginning of the next round, 4 of my cards and 2 of my opponent's cards are going to be out of the battle because I also mentioned in my previous blog that it doesn't matter how many shields you have left, if your health is low then this ruleset will cost you heavily on the battlefield.
🔥Round 2
Here, at the start of the second round, the poison affected every card in the battlefield and all the cards whose health was 2 or less were taken out of the battle, but this dangerous poisonous ruleset had no effect on one card at all and that is my card placed in the second position with immunity ability.
🔥Round 2 (Somewhere in the middle)
This is the view after all those cards are out of the battle and now you can see that the health of the enemy's current first-place card has increased dramatically because it has the Scavenger ability due to which it gains +1 health every time a unit dies.
Looking at the current picture, it seems that in terms of attack, the condition of the enemy and me is somewhat equal, but the enemy's tremendous health is still a matter of concern. Let's see what happens next in this battle.
Round 3 🔥
This is the scene after the effect of the poison at the beginning of the third round where on one side the enemy is standing strongly with 2 attackers and a total of 3 cards and on the other side my team has just a single card. What do you say now? It seems that I should give up this battle because defeat seems certain.
The battle isn't over until even a single card is left alive!
🔥Round 4
This is the situation after the effect of the poison at the beginning of Round 4. My card has only one health left but the enemy team has lost one more card and now the enemy has only one attacker and unfortunately, that attacker is also positioned at the wrong place due to which he is not in a condition to attack.
🔥Round 5
This explosion you are seeing is the attack of my only card on the enemy after the effect of poison at the beginning of the 5th round. And because the enemy's last remaining card now has only one health left and just after this the 6th round will begin in which the poison will once again affect the enemy and my card will be saved from it due to immunity and I will win this battle which I had almost considered lost in the beginning.
The outcome of this battle could have been completely different if I didn't have this immunity ability card or if the enemy had placed their melee attackers correctly.
You see, this small thing could have changed the outcome of the battle here and there are many such things that if learned and understood, can lead you towards consistent victory in this game, due to which your ranking in this game can also improve a lot.
I hope you enjoyed my battle and learn something good!😎
