This is a fantastic update! You remember, don't you? Just a few days ago, I told you about a new update in Splinterlands regarding daily rewards. With the addition of a "Spin the Wheel" game, players now have the opportunity to win even more rewards every day. Since I wasn't entirely sure what other rewards were included on this wheel—and was hoping for something unique and exciting—I decided to give it a spin today. When I did, a "Challenge" appeared on my screen, and I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow! A challenge—that means an exciting battle is about to take place!" I had never played this specific type of challenge game before. Although in Splinterlands you are mostly playing against other players anyway—making every match, in a sense, a "challenge"—a specially designed challenge that serves as a prerequisite for earning a reward sparks a whole different level of excitement.
So, I accepted the challenge. On the following page, I discovered that the rules were already predetermined: for this specific battle, only the Water Element is active. Furthermore, while the maximum Mana cap is set at 99, there are no additional rule sets in effect. The most amusing part, however, was the inclusion of a "TIP" provided by the system—presented in the form of a question—which read: What attack type benefits most from Marlai's +1 magic?

Well, that was enough for me to understand exactly what I needed to do in this battle. Incidentally, when working with the Water element, I myself usually choose Marlai as the Archon; however, the tip proved useful because it made the task much easier. There was one other thing that came in handy here: the fact that you can view the challenger's team composition before selecting your own. Although I didn't quite grasp that point initially, I was left dumbfounded upon seeing those very same cards in the opponent's camp once the battle began. I simply couldn't fathom how anyone could construct a team entirely devoid of magic attacks, especially after having chosen Marlai as their Archon. Just take a look for yourself: the enemy team featured only a single magic attacker—and even that was likely included solely because the unit possessed a dual-attack capability. Yet, the opponent had positioned this unit at the very end of their lineup—a placement that effectively prevented it from utilizing its secondary attack type (Melee) in addition to its magic attacks.

A human being certainly couldn't make a mistake like that—LOL! This must have been the work of a bot—specifically one designed solely to make such deliberate errors. Perhaps this happened because it was my very first challenge; otherwise, there is certainly no shortage of pro players in Splinterlands. Well, facing my best support team—led by my Marley summoner—this battle didn't last very long at all; in no time, I had won the match. Upon completing the challenge, I received 200 Sparks and gained access to the Royal Sparks Shop—a place where you can spend these Sparks to purchase various items. Currently, avatar items and card skins are available, while other items will likely be listed very soon. As of now, I don't have enough Sparks to purchase anything from the shop, but hopefully, I'll be visiting again in the next few days—this time with pockets full of Sparks!

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥

If you also want to enjoy this amazing game and you have not yet signed up, I invite you to Splinterlands, and I will also try my best to guide you in this game. 😎
