This week's Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge is an invite to focus on knowledge sharing. It is about Tutorials and Tips for climbing the ranks and improving in the game. Recently I have learned some new things about this game which will prove useful to you in improving this game.
First of all, I would like to thank you for this new "Community Commitment & Reward Eligibility" rule. I have wanted something like this for a long time because users blogging only for short-term gains by getting curation from the Splinterlands community on a few blogs every week will not be committed to the hive ecosystem or Splinterlands. It has been one and a half years since I joined this platform and except for the last 1 month, I have published every blog with 100% power-up every time and I am going to follow the same strategy in future as well unless I face a major emergency because as far as I understood, the best benefit of this platform and all the rewards can be availed only by staying invested in it and I have been following the same mindset till now and hope that other users also understand this.
Use your Glint reward currency wisely!
Whether you have just started playing this game or you have been here for a long time, you must be aware of the Glint reward currency. If you don't know, let me tell you that apart from the Splinterlands governance currency SPS and transactional currency DEC, there is also a Glint reward currency which you get as a reward every time you win a battle. You can see it in the Rewards section on the Battle page.
As you can see in the screenshot above, my current Glint Rewards balance is 1,911. Initially, I was not aware of this reward and its benefits and at one point I had accumulated more than 30,000 Glint Rewards. If you are hearing about Glint Rewards for the first time, then check your rewards section, you too will have a good amount of Glint Rewards at this time.
And I have recently discovered that these rewards are very useful. With Glint balance, you can purchase different items from the reward shop which can prove to be very helpful in improving your gameplay. Imagine if you also have better cards, then you can make even better strategies to defeat the enemy and if you do not have to spend anything from your pocket for those better cards, then can there be anything better than this? Here Splinterlands gives you opportunities to improve your gameplay.
How to use them!
Well, on the same page, you will see the SHOP option on the top right of My Glint Balance. You can also access the Rewards Shop by clicking here or by going to the SHOP menu on the top left menu bar and clicking on Rewards.
This shop will feature several rarity draws through which you can purchase amazing rare cards, resources, and loot chests. I myself have recently purchased some great cards through rare and epic draws and my gameplay has improved a lot since these cards were added to my deck.
These are some of the rare and epic cards I recently purchased from the Glint Rewards Shop.
By looking at these cards, you can imagine how much my gameplay would have improved by having these cards in my deck. Although just having good cards is not everything, especially if you do not know the stats, abilities and rules, but having good cards is also an advantage in itself which cannot be taken lightly and if such great cards can be purchased so easily, then I think this Glint reward is a gift from Splinterlands to all of us.
That's why starting today, I will also share 5% of my post reward with @Splinterlands. :)
