Namaste to all fellow players of Splinterlands!

This week's Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge is about the art of synergy! No team can ever win without proper synergy, because it is this synergy that makes those cards a team. And this is what makes 2 or more cards together exceptionally powerful, which has its own unique advantage in the battle.

My recent favorite duo!

Let me tell you upfront that I don't own either of these cards. Ulundin Overseer is a grey card delegated to me by my Splinterlands guide and friend @nozem01, and the other, Kulu Mastermind, I rented this season.

At a glance, you may think that only Kulu Mastermind is a good card among them, but if you look at its abilities, you will find that it has a special Weapons Training ability, through which it gives attack type and maximum 3 power to the adjacent no attack card. Which confirms that it would be best to place a no attack card adjacent to it and for that, I like Ulundin Overseer the most in my available deck because Ulundin lacks only attack power, although its speed is also the lowest, but apart from that its health is tremendous and it also has multiple armors. Along with all this, it also has a beautiful ability which makes its role in this pair stronger and that is Flank, due to which if this card is in the first position, then the card in the second position gets the reach ability. And if you noticed, Kulu Mastermind is a melee card that cannot perform attacks from anywhere other than the first position without any special abilities.

How their synergy creates a powerful battle advantage!

Are you able to understand the synergy of this pair now? At first glance, it seemed that Kulu Mastermind is the most powerful among them, which is true in a way. Still, without the Reach Ability, this card cannot perform attacks anywhere except the first place, due to which the importance of Ulundin Overseer increases here. And since Ulundin Overseer does not have any attacking power of its own, but the rest of the stats are tremendous, in such a situation, by lining it up in the first place, the whole team also gets a strong defender, which also gets good attacking power after Weapons Training. So it not only withstands the attacks of the enemy but also hits back at them and those attacks are also not ordinary. Overall, both these cards strengthen each other and show their dominance on the battlefield with the perfect art of synergy.
