Exploring some amazing magic attack cards of the light element

in Splinterlands3 months ago

I have been writing about magic attack cards because of their peculiar capabilities and how a lot of players prefer them. There is no doubt that this category of cards are incredible. There are so many magic attack cards that belong to the different elements, and the light element is not excluded.

I have a soft spot for the light element and this time, I will be presenting to you some amazing magic attack cards of the light element. Since there are so many cards out there, this could bring to your attention, cool cards that you could try in battle.

Harbinger of Chaos

This ferocious monster has a magic attack of 3. So in one attack, it slashes the health of a enemy unit by 3. This monster also has a health of 7 which is really good to keep it long enough in battle to cause mayhem for the enemy. With a speed of 2, it can qualify as being moderately fast. Unsurprisingly, this card costs 8 mana.

At level one, the Harbinger of Chaos has the Divine shield ability, meaning that the first time it takes damage in battle, it is ignored. By level 3, it adds another cool ability, the immunity ability. This ability makes it immune to negative effects.
At the highest level (level 6), this monster's magic attack increases to 4 and its health increases to 10.

Runemancer Atuat

This monster has 2 magic attacks, which is lethal enough. Furthermore, it has 3 armors and health of 9. Those are incredible stats that make it very suitable for the tank position in battle, even though it can fit in anywhere. However, it is very slow as we can see that it has a speed of 1. The mana cost for this card is 9.

At level 1, the Runemancer Atuat has the headwinds ability, letting it deplete the ranged attacks of all enemy monsters by 1. By level 2, it adds the forcefield ability, which means it only takes 1 damage from attacks with a power of 5 or more.
At level 3, it gets the last stand ability, letting it gain fifty percent to all of its stats if it's the only surviving unit in battle.

By the highest level (level 4), its magic attack and health both increase by 1.

Iziar

This monster has 2 magic attacks, hence being capable of dealing 2 damages to the health of enemy units. It has a health of 12. That is obviously massive. Iziar is also fast, as it has a speed of 3. The mana cost for this card is 11.

At level 1, it has the taunt ability, making all enemy monsters to target it if they can. I noticed that a lot of monsters that have similar amount of health like Iziar usually have the taunt ability. Iziar also has the void ability which reduces damages it suffers from magic attacks by half.

By level 3, it adds the matyr ability, meaning that when it gets eliminated from battle, adjacent units get +1 to all their stats. At the highest level (level 4), it's health increases to 14 and it's magic attack increases to 3..

The only trouble is that they are all slow cards. Iziar is the fastest with 3 speed and is a great card. You hope is that you can reek havoc on your opponent before Iziar gets taken down. A spirit hoarder would help keep Iziar alive.
