Good day everyone, It's nice to see a lot of entry for this week challenge, I love seeing this tips and tutorial that a lot of veterans are sharing. This is really a good time to share this since a lot of new players are now trying out our favorite Card Game on Hive.
And for my share for this weeks challenge , I will be sharing about my favorite Line Up. This post focuses more on how to take advantage of the previous reward cards that introduce the skill martyr, that allows adjacent units to be boosted.
And to show how this skill is very useful specially if paired with my favorite Gladius Card , Quora Towershed.
I've been using this combo a lot so It just fit to share them for other to use it too, specially to the newbies.
To Start the combo, First I'll introduce the main cards that I use to boost Quora thru the martyr ability.
Initially the earth element has only one unit that has the martyr ability, but because of Venari Marksrat I can have 2 of them, this unit being neutral is very useful in all elements specially in earth where I use it mostly.
This unit aside from the martyr ability has also shatter, a perfect counter for hard armored tanks, so getting this unit at max level is a no brainer.
Second unit that has the martyr ability in the the Fungus Flinger.
Also a very useful low mana units aside from martyr it also has blind , a very rare skill to have, also the affliction that is very useful to counter heal and triage ability.
And whats best about this two cards , they are loaded with skills and yet they just cost 3 mana.
So now here is how I use them as a boost card for Quora ,to make her even stronger. Most of the battles I use Quora is the rule Noxious Fumes. In this rules activating the martyr is faster since all units with no immunity will take a poison damage each round.
So to take advantage of it, here is how I place them in the field.
Placing Quora in the middle of the two cards makes the boost a double occurrence, and with her immunity ability the effect of the martyr cannot be removed with any spell.
So here are some battles that I used this line Up, so wether it's a posion rule or not , I always use this positioning.
