Without playing daily battles I still stroll around Splinterlands to see where I can maximize my earnings whether in land or asset rentals. Today I stumble upon the updated Chapter 1 additional campaign. I was able to go through them reasonable well, however I encounter some bugs.
For instance in setting up formations apparently if I scroll on the webpage my team automatically enters into the battle. Whether or not I have sufficient monsters selected it just goes through. Took me a couple of tries to avoid scrolling and still get my team selected to win.
On the Splinterlands tokens assets front it appears SPS continues to collapse in conjunction with Hive.
It is not ideal to see core crypto token of the blockchain, Hive, be falling but even worse is the core crypto token of Splinterlands, SPS.
One pair of token I am looking closely is SPS to DEC. The trend is lower as less DEC per SPS exchanged but its still higher than about three months ago. My thought would be is if SPS to DEC goes back down to the lows of 8 to 1 I may perform some exchange of DEC to SPS. This would mean SPS is cheaper to buy. I have been holding liquid DEC for a couple of months that can swap into SPS quite easily.
On the flip side I am not sure where the bottom will be. The demand for Conclave has sunk and even with the arrival of Wagon it simply just not pushing enough demand to make players invest into Splinterlands. Not really sure if altcoins are in a bull run even though BTC is closer to its all time highs than lows.
It could be my mouse scroll is malfunctioning?
I will admit some of the chapters definitely have some challenge when playing through them. Especially Chapter 12.4 as I won by thinnest of margins.
With that completed we now have a net total of 42 foundation cards.
I would imagine the developers intend to provide a full foundation set for players to play competitively in modern league. Time will tell if this assumption is correct, but seeing how they update the Campaign so easily I believe there are infinite possibilities.
A quick update on my land production, I now have 25% of my overall DEC needed staked. Of course this is based on 4 out of 5 plots in the works and a lot of my cards used are legacy cards which require less DEC to stake.
In hopes of yielding more I will soon put in some more legacy cards to get my production up while keeping the staked DEC as low as possible. The challenges are to not have a deficit in Grain production and still earning enough DEC to keep growing.
