Greetings to the entire Splinterlands community! After a first week where I didn't perform so well and dropped to a lower rank, Bronze, in the first games of the season.
Today I have some positive news, which I will be sharing throughout this post.
¡Saludos a toda la comunidad de Splinterlands! Después de una primera semana dónde no he tenido tan buen rendimiento y he bajado en las primeras partidas de la temporada a un rango tan inferior como lo es Bronce.
Hoy tengo novedades dentro de todo positivas, que las estaré contando a lo largo de toda la publicación.
After dropping to Bronze I the previous week, I decided to devote a little more time to the game to try to turn the situation around, because receiving so little SPS and GLINT after the investment I had made to play really felt like it wasn't worth it.
I started playing more seriously, so by paying a little more attention, I managed to get a small winning streak that allowed me to return to Silver III. However, it was difficult for me to stay there again because I feel that the deck I rented has very good summoners but is very weak when it comes to putting units on the battlefield.
Después de descender a Bronce I la anterior semana, decidi dedicarle un poco más de tiempo al juego para intentar revertir la situación, porque realmente recibir poco SPS y GLINT después de la inversion que habia hecho para jugar, sentia que no valia para nada la pena.
Comencé a jugar de forma más seria, por lo que al tomar un poco mas de atención logré sacar una pequeña de racha de victorias que me permitió nuevamente regresar a Plata III. Sin embargo, me costó mantenerme nuevamente porque siento que mazo que alquilé tiene muy buenos invocadores pero flojea mucho al momento de poner unidades en el campo de batalla.
My poor strategy, an ineffective deck, and my absent-mindedness (sometimes I forgot to start the battle within the time limit) caused me to drop back down and have to fight my way back up again.
Luckily, after a few games in which I thought carefully about my strategy, I was able to secure victory and return to Silver. However, I'm still quite demotivated because my performance this season was very poor, and the rewards I'll receive in both GLINT and SPS will likely be the same.
Added to the fact that I don't have much time, I'm forced to play battles quickly, so I can't gain much advantage in each battle. So I'll probably have some news for the next post, where I'll likely take some drastic measures.
Mi mala estrategia, un mazo poco efectivo y lo distraído que soy (a veces me olvidaba de presentar la batalla en el tiempo limite) hicieron que volviera a descender y tuviera que luchar nuevamente por subir.
Por suerte, luego de unas partidas en las que pensé detenidamente una estrategia, pude hacerme con la victoria y volver a Silver. Sin embargo, sigo bastante desmotivado porque mi rendimiento de esta temporada fue muy malo e igual seran las recompensas que recibiré tanto en GLINT como en SPS.
Sumado a que no tengo tanto tiempo, me obliga a jugar las batallas rápido de forma que no puedo sacar una gran ventaja en cada batalla. Asi que tendré novedades probablemente para la próxima publicación, dónde probablemente tomé alguna medida drastica.
I decided to spend the little glint I managed to accumulate after more than 150 games on loot chests, hoping to get some more energy and thus have a better chance of generating more SPS.
All in all, I ended up being a little lucky because I managed to accumulate a considerable amount of cards and a total of 3 energy. Technically, I would have spent something similar if I had tried to buy the energy.
El poco glint que logré acumular tras más de 150 partidas decidí gastarlo en cofres de botín, con la esperanza de conseguir algo más de energía y así tener mayores posibilidades de generar más SPS.
Dentro de todo, he terminado teniendo un poco de suerte debido a que logré acumular una cantidad considerable de cartas y un total de 3 de energia. Tecnicamente, me hubiera gastado algo parecido si intentaba comprar la energia.
One of the only good things about today was that I realized that during my downtime, I had accumulated a pretty large amount of Merits. So I decided to spend them all on Gladius Cases to try my luck.
I had around 30,000 MERITS, so I ended up buying 25 Gladius Cases from the Guild store. Until now, I had never opened so many in a single opening, so I wanted to try my luck to see if I could get my long-awaited legendary item.
Una de las únicas buenas noticias de la jornada, es que me terminé dando cuenta que en mi tiempo de inactividad, he terminado acumulando una cantidad bastante grande de Merits. Por lo que decidi terminar gastando su totalidad en Gladius Cases para probar suerte.
Tenia alrededor de 30.000 MERITS, por lo que terminé adquiriendo en la tienda de Guild: 25 Gladius Cases. Hasta el momento, nunca había abierto tantas en un solo opening, asi que queria probar un poco de suerte para ver si logro obtener mi tan ansiada legendaria.
I started by opening the first five Gladius Cases and finished the opening by opening the last ten. On my first opening, I wasn't so lucky, except for getting an epic that will help me continue to improve one of the cards I use most from the Gladiator set: Quora Townsend.
Comencé abriendo las 5 primeras Gladius Cases para terminar el opening abriendo las ultimas diez. En mi primera apertura, no he logrado tener tanta suerte salvo sacar una épica que me sirve para seguir mejorando una de las cartas que más uso del set Gladiator: Quora Townsend.
For the opening of the last ten, I had forgotten that if you open a certain number of the same pack, the cards accumulate and are not shown individually for each unit that comes out, so it was somewhat unnecessary to divide the opening into 5 and 10 packs respectively.
Finally, in the second round, I managed to get a new card that I didn't have from the Gladiator set: Flagulon Reine. Beyond that card, the only thing I can highlight is that I got two epic cards from Trapp Falloway, a card that is useful when playing with the Death element and the possibility of adding a Gladiator to the battle.
Para la apertura de las ultima diez, habia olvidado que si abres cierta cantidad del mismo paquete, las cartas se acumulan y no se muestran individualmente por cada unidad que sale, por lo que fue medio innecesario seccionar la apertura en 5 y 10 paquetes respectivamente.
Finalmente, en la segunda tanda he logrado conseguir una carta nueva que no he del set Gladiator: Flagulon Reine. Más alla de esa carta, lo único que puedo destacar es que he obtenido dos cartas épicas de Trapp Falloway, una carta que es util al jugar con el elemento de Muerte y la posibilidad de sumar un Gladiator a la batalla.
