What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!
I hope all of you are enjoying an awesome day with your loved ones and also playing and growing your splinterlands account in your daily free time. Well, if you play this game on a daily basis like me, then you must have noticed that we have almost come to the middle of this ongoing ranked season. So I guess all of you are playing with your best effort right now in order to complete your goals for this season, be it either to reach a certain league tier or to compete in the champion leaderboard. Playing splinterlands is even more interesting now, as with the new update we can now earn league tier reward chests for every tier you reach in a single ranked season. I really used to miss opening the daily reward chests, so I am very happy with this new update. Thanks to the team for listening to us players.
Now, talking about my own progress in the game, in the last season I somehow managed to reach the Champion III tier but just before the season end, I lost so many matches back to back which caused me to come down to Diamond I again, where I finished playing for the season. Now, just before this new reward update launch, I intentionally played down to the Gold I league so that I could get one more reward chest. Right now, I am Playing at the Diamond III tier with a current trophy rating of 3,060 and at this point, I would need only another 40 trophies to enter the next tier, which is of course my immediate goal. For this season my goal would be the same to reach the Champion League, let’s see how it goes.
Now moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I am going to talk again about some of the newly launched Rebellion edition reward monsters. In my previous post, I discussed 2 such reward monsters with the Strengthen ability and in today’s post, let's extend this series as I am going to share 2 monsters with the Void ability. If you have played this game for a while then you already know about this old ability. But for those who don’t know, monsters with this ability received reduced damage from enemy magic monsters. So if you are interested, let’s take a jump right in without any further ado.
Quilliun Legionary
The first card that I would like to talk about is the Quilliun Legionary and this is one of the Reward monster cards that was launched with the latest Rebellion edition reward card set. This monster belongs to the Earth element and it costs 8 mana to be used in battles, so you can choose this card in your lineup when playing medium to large mana limit matches. This monster’s attack type is Ranged and comes with a poor attack but a good armour + health combo and a handful of awesome abilities. It is a rare card, so it needs a total of 115 BCXs of cards to upgrade it to the max level.
Now if we look at this card’s league wise stats, at level 1 it only gets 2 ranged attack at 2 speed with 1 armour and 8 health and also gets the Close Range ability since its initial level. But as you start upgrading this card, it gets the Thorns ability from level 2, Void ability from level 4 and finally, when it reaches its max level, it gets the same 2 ranged attack at 2 speed with 2 armour and 10 health and also receives another new ability called Bloodlust. The close range ability will help it to attack while in the first place of the lineup, the Thorns ability will damage back enemy melee attackers whenever they hit this card and the Bloodlust ability will increase all of its stats by +1 every time it successfully kills Down an enemy card. So though this card looks weak for an 8 mana cost, if you use it strategically, it will protect you as a defensive card and become more powerful.
Razorhound
The next card that I would like to mention here is none other than Razorhound and this ferocious fox looking warrior attacks by throwing bombs. This monster card also got launched with the latest rebellion reward card set and it belongs to the Water element. It costs 5 mana to be used in battles, so you can use this card easily while playing small to medium mana limit matches. Its attack type is Range and apart from a good attack power and decent speed, it also possesses a good combo of armour + health which makes it defensive, it also holds 3 abilities which I will be discussing below. It is also a rare type of card just like Quilliun, so it will also require a total of 115 BCXs of cards to upgrade it to the max level.
Now looking at its league wise stats, at level 1 this monster possesses 2 ranged attack at 2 speed with 1 armour and 2 health and it also gets the Strengthen ability from its initial level. But as this card starts getting upgraded, it gets True Strike ability at level 4, increases its attack at level 9 and when you finally upgrade it to its max level, it receives 3 ranged attack at 2 speed with 2 armour and 5 health and also gets another new ability called Void. The Strengthen ability will increase every friendly monster’s max health by +1 while with the help of the True Strike ability, this monster will never miss its attack. So in my opinion, this monster is very powerful considering its mana costs and will play a pivotal role in battles, so you should definitely try to get this card asap in your inventory and upgrade this card according to your desired playing league level.
I hope you liked reading my post and also loved the 2 monsters which I talked about above. Let me know which one among them you like more in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.
