Today I want to talk about a very interesting topic related to @splinterlands the different types of players. Believe it or not, there are several. In this post, we’ll dive into each one with a bit of humor and wrap it up with an analytical touch at the end.
Without further ado, let’s start with the first:
1️⃣ULTRAINSTINCT SPLINTER WHALE
This player has everything in the game maxed out cards, legendary lands, and castles. You usually find them in Diamond leagues or higher thanks to their insane collection power.
With the new Conclave Arcana expansion, they already have pre-sale packs, exclusive titles you can only dream of, and even their opinions influence the company's decisions.
From my point of view, they’ve invested over $10,000 and are making solid profits.

- 2️⃣SPLINTER INVESTOR
A bit more conservative than the previous one, but still holds good assets like legendary lands. This type usually plays in Diamond league without needing to rent cards or SPS because of their solid holdings.
Their investment ranges between $1,000 and $4,000, and like whales, their opinions can impact the game. Their profits are good.
- 3️⃣SPLINTER CONTENT CREATOR
Many of us fall into this category. While we play the game, we often have to rent SPS and cards just to compete in Gold league some reach Diamond with a lot of dedication. True splinter lovers.
They’re called content creators because they’re active in social media, engagement, or art posts related to Splinterlands.

Typically, they own one land, and their investment is around $40 to $200. Their profits vary depending on their posts and asset rentals.
- 4️⃣SPLINTER YAMCHA
This player only bought the Spellbook and is still trying to figure everything out, hoping the universe will send guidance.
Their chances of growing in the game without investment are very low. They lose most of their battles, earning just a few Glints.
They haven’t created content on Hive because they’re either lazy or don’t know how. They have no collection power. Their investment is just $10.
Their only hope is to invest smartly and not end up losing it all.
- 5️⃣NO SPLINTER
This player bought the Spellbook and one of two things happened:
They tried the game and didn’t like it, or didn’t see profits and got bored, abandoning their account.
We also include here those who left the project for various reasons.
- 6️⃣I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO YET
The last type of player. This one is still unsure whether to join.
They hang out in the chats asking about the game’s ROI but haven’t even bought the Spellbook yet.
Overall, these are the player types in the project. While I added some humor, there’s a real opportunity here if the company focuses on the last few categories to give the project more visibility and a sustainable economy.
My grandfather used to say: "It's better to sell an egg every day than a hen every three months."

Hoy quiero hablar de un tema bien interesante sobre @splinterlands que son los tipos de jugadores, que aunque no lo creas existen varios. En este post hablaremos un poco de ellos poniéndole un poco de humor como también una parte de análisis que verán al final de post.
Sin mas preámbulos comencemos con el primero:
- SPLINTER BALLENA MODO ULTRAINSTINTO
Este jugador posee de todo en el juego tal cual como ciertas cartas en nivel máximo como también tierras legendarias y castillos. Generalmente no los encontramos en ligas de Diamante hacia arriba debido a su poder de colección que esta por las nubes.
Estos jugadores con la nueva expansión de Conclave Arcana ya tienen varios packs que compraron en preventa e incluso títulos que solo puedes tener en tu imaginación, como también su pensamiento frente a algún cambio pesa en las decisiones de la compañía.
Desde mi punto de vista tienen mas de 10mil dólares invertido o mucho más y tiene excelentes ganancias.
- SPLINTER INVERSOR
Este es un poco mas conservador que el anterior pero también tiene unos buenos activos del proyecto tal como tierras legendarias. Generalmente puede jugar en Diamante sin tener que arquilar ni cartas ni SPS ya que tiene una cantidad considerable.
Considero que su rango de inversión esta entre 1000 y 4000 dólares; ah al igual que el anterior sus decisiones pueden influir frente a los cambios del juego. Posee ganancias buenas.
SPLINTER CREADOR DE CONTENIDO
Mucho estamos en este rango ya que aunque jugamos al proyecto nos toca estar arquilando SPS y algunas cartas para jugar en promedio en Oro. Ojo algunos pueden llegar a Diamante pero con mucho esfuerzo y dedicación. Es un splinterlover.
Se llama creador de contenido ya que participa en el social media, engagement o en el de arte mediante sus post alusivos a splinterlands.
Generalmente tienen una tierra y su inversión ronda entre los 40 a 200 dólares en el juego, aunque sus ganancias dependen de los post y la rentabilidad que consiga arquilando activos.
SPLINTER CRILIN
Este solo compro el book y esta intentando entender como funciona todo y le pide al universo que lo ilumine. Sus posibilidades de crecer en el juego sin inversión son muy bajas. No tiene ganancias ya que como es nuevo pierde casi todas sus partidas y lo que gana son unos pocos glints. Debe esperar ya que le da pereza hacer contenido en hive o no sabe como es. No tiene poder de pelea ( poder de colección). Su inversión es de solo 10 dólares.
Su única esperanza es invertir y que no se equivoque en comprar activos del juego y se valla en perdida.
NO SPLINTER
Solo compro el book y le paso estos 2 casos: o probo el juego y no le gusto o al no ver ganancias se aburrió y dejo la cuenta abandonada. Aquí también podemos poner a los que se fueron del proyecto por diversas circunstancias.
NO SE QUE HACER
Este es el ultimo jugador, esta indeciso si entrar o no, generalmente pregunta en los chats por el roi del juego pero aun no ha comprado el libro.
En general estos son los jugadores que existen en el proyecto, aunque le quise dar un toque de humor puede haber una oportunidad si la compañía centra sus esfuerzos en los últimos jugadores para darle mas luz al proyecto y una economía circular. Mi abuelo decía es mejor vender un huevo diario que vender una gallina cada 3 meses.
