Hello Friends,
https://peakd.com/hive-13323/@splinterlands/splinterlands-social-media-challenge-theme-reward-cards-si7zez
Splinterlands is back in news for good reasons off late as there was an announcement recently with regards to release of new set of rewards cards from Rebellion edition as in this blog.
The Splinterlands team has announced that, the number of rewards cards in this Rebellion edition will be as in Chaos Legion Reward cards with a total of 43 new cards (12 common, 12 rare, 7 epic and 12 legendary cards).
As with any previous rewards cards, this Rebellion edition will also have few new abilities getting added to the awesome list of abilities which are already there and will make the game even more interesting!!!!
Here are the Four new abilities which will be available with new rewards cards:
1. Mimic:
This ability will enable the monsters to get some random ability from opponent's monsters from Second round onwards and the monsters will have 25% chance of gaining a random ability from the monster it got attacked.
Will this gain be permanent? Nope, the Dispel ability have the supremacy to remove the gained ability and if a monster has got multiple abilities from opponent's monster, then dispel will remove One ability with an attack in the order of abilities were gained.
This is such a nice addition and will surely create active vibes with the Splinterlands gamers. What do you say?
2. Corrupted Healing:
This is something a bit difficult to understand as of now as the statement says each allied unit will have 1/3rd of max health in each round and this is crystal clear but it also says there will be a reduction of health by 1 from max health.
We need to experience this in real time gaming to review it further and hopefully, we will have an update on this soon to understand how it works.
3. Execute:
This seems to be another exciting One as the monster which will attack an opponent's monster will have a chance to attack One more time in the same round provided the attacked monster's health has got reduced to 2 or less after the First attack.
Wow!!! I think the games will get over a bit more earlier with these new abilities, what do you say guys?
4. Wingbreak:
As the name says this ability is something to deal with flying ability and this ability will enable a monster to always target a flying monster overriding all other abilities and also inflicts +2 damage to the flying monsters!!!!
Super!!!! Earthquake battles will have to be extra careful to select high health flying monsters to avoid getting wiped out with this ability.
Hope cleansing will restore the flying ability, we will have to experience this as well.
Negative Abilities On Allied Monsters!!!!
In addition to these 4 abilities, Splinterlands team has also planned for 3 additional abilities which will have some negative impact on the allied monsters and I think I am not yet clear on why we need these and what exactly is the motive behind these negative abilities.
We will have to explore further on these, but just for information, here are those 3 negative abilities on allied monsters we are going to experience soon!!!
1. Incendiary:
This will enable reapply of burning effect on allied monsters which will also spread to an adjacent monster by 33%!!!
Burning will reduce the health by 2 on allied monsters, NOT on opponent's monsters.
But there is good news!!! this burning can be cleansed by a monster with cleanser and we need to check how much a monster or how many monsters will be cleansed in each round.
2. Electrified:
This will inflict 1 damage to all allied units at the beginning of each round, let's wait an see which monsters will have this ability and are we suppose to avoid those or should we prefer the positive abilities those monsters bring is yet to be explored!!!
3. Weary:
Last of these negative abilities, Weary, will inflict 10% exhaust with round it seems until the exhaust is reached 80%.
Exhaust, as mentioned by Splinterlands, is something which will enable allied monsters to skip their attacking ability and even the retaliate ability if there, will be disabled.
It's very unclear on this above 2 negative abilities and we will experience these soon and have an update.
I would say the game will be even more interesting with these new abilities and I will be coming back with few more blogs in future to get to know the actual rewards cards as we experience the monsters with these new abilities.
That's it in this blog guys, will be back soon.
Thanks and Have a good day :)
