Holla holla splinterfans :
Here I am again presenting quite an amazing battle that I won this week.

Ruleset
No ruleset, mana cost was high on 35, so choosing a tank more powerful will do on this battle.

I chose 7 monsters found in the fire splinter including my summoner, and one neutral monster.
My opponent however went with same numbers, 7 monsters but on the earth splinter.
My Team

Summoner/ Monster | Reason |
---|---|
Tarsa | |
Chaos Arc | Piercing ability |
Touch Myrmidon | Flank & Close range Ability |
Mad Ogre Anarchist | Opportunity Ability |
Antoid platoon | Shield |
Djinn Apprentice | |
Scavo Chemist | Cleanse |
My Opponents Team

Summoner/ Monster | |
---|---|
Underboss Fabino | |
Endless Ape | |
Venari Knifer | |
Mycelic Morphoid | |
Venari Scout | |
Hill Gaint | |

I'm really wondering the trick that I used on this battle, cause my opponent's team was on point, he has a powerful summoner "Underboss fabino", a great tanker Endless ape which has the melee attack and also posses the scavenger ability, there is also the tank healer which he placed at the goto tank position.
Oh! now I see his fault, I guess he didn't arrange his team very well into the appropriate position
ROUND 1: Apocalypse
I'm really not into the fire splinter but decided to give it a try and they did really good. With the right monsters on the right positions i really didn't need a tank healer on this battle

Round one ended up with Mad Ogre striking Mycelic Morphoid out. My attacking team laid quite a foundation, with the whole buzz around am surprised Djinn Apprentice was among the striking team

Round 2:

I guess Mad Ogre was the one placed around to do a finish job on whoever has already been mounted on
He took out Endless Ape just when round 2 was getting started.

Round 3 & 4

Venari Knifer was a bit of brute, maybe because of the thorns ability he poses, being that I have always admired his thorns. Anyway, Mad Ogre as usual took him down within a sec just after He took out Chaos Arc.

I do not know the performance of Hill Giant in the tank, but he got into it on round 5
Round 5 & 6

Hill Gaint fought tight, but a strike from Mad Ogre took 2% outta his life, living him out of the game.

Goblin Psychic was the last man standing, I was routing for a flawless victory but its all good. Djinn Apprentice however wipe him out completely with just a stone throw.
Summary
I aint gonna badge on this one, I guess with or without a tank healer, one can still win a battle, however the most important thing is putting the right monsters in the appropriate position. Mad Ogre did act as a great striker in the tank healer's position and I guess he did play the role of a decoy tank healer quite well.
See you next week for more epic battles !
