The last season for splinterlands is over and the new one started. The reward distribution has been done for the last one and now it is time for me to think about the current season and how I am going to play. I think that every season is an opportunity to plan the strategy and play the game according to that. I was thinking of giving it a try in Diamond League because I know that there is a reduction in the number of tokens as a reward for players in the wild format.
Purchased Wild Pass
It is mandatory to purchase a season pass for Wild and then only you can start playing the battles. I have done it already and I made the payment choosing the DEC token hence now I can play the battles and as you can see on the below snapshot currently I have a 24 energy count. This is a decent count and one energy count is recharged every hour which means we can play 24 battles in a day easily.
Honestly, I don't like this requirement for the battle pass only for players in the wild. It should be open for everyone so if I want to play in the wild I can easily do that without following any additional layers similar to the modern where people can play easily without buying any passes. I prefer playing in the wild format because most of my cards are from the older editions and I don't want to invest in the new cards as of now. But if I need to play in the wild then I will have to spend this much money to buy the pass however this cost is not much but maybe some people might find it tough and obviously, I'm not sure about it.
Season End Reward
I have got a reward of 123k GLINT tokens and I also earn about 3-4k tokens as part of my daily gameplay. Now the new season is restarted and I will be buying some stuff in the game because it is good to buy since the prices are low as there is some capping.
Now I think it is good because we can hold the token as long as we want and there is no restriction on spending. Physically we have the flexibility to do the token whenever we want to plan if we want depending on whatever is available in the reward shop.
Buying 25 EPIC Draws
Now I'm going to buy 25 epic cards and the cost of one card is 7500 tokens hence I will have to pay 187,500 glint tokens. I don't know what I'm going to leave out of it but I'm tired and look forward to seeing some fantastic cards as well as some of them should also be gold versions if I'm lucky enough today. I have also selected the potions to see if it works and I can get more gold cards out of these 25 draws.
This is the outcome of my purchase of 25 cards and I am glad to say that I have got a couple of gold cards as well. I'll be using these cards to upgrade to higher levels. I play battles on the higher level with high-level cards and this is why upgrading these cars to the higher level is my preference which I will be doing from time to time. At least I should have level 5 and more than only I can think of playing with these cards else these cards are not useful for me unless I achieve that label and for that reason I will continue to upgrade. The new reward card edition from the Rebellion is good to have because these cards are pretty much powerful in the game.
That's all about the current season and since the season has just started and we can start playing now and also keep on changing the strategy in between if it is a need. I'm following the same and after a couple of days, I will see if there is any change I need to make in my gameplay strategy for the season. I also have a thought to play in the Diamond League this season and not enter the Champion League to have a comparison of rewards between both leagues.
