Greetings Community
Happy weekend filled with health, energy, wonderful ideas, and lots of enthusiasm in every activity you undertake.
The Power of Order, a topic that has always brought different perspectives, from the everyday views of our mothers to the study of psychology and how order can influence our lives.
Looking back, order and cleanliness were always present in my life, even as a child, and they still are. I remember my mother, even though our house, a large but not luxurious house, was luxurious in other ways: family, sharing, and home education. There were many of us; even cousins grew up with us. Each bed had its own sheet that had to be washed every week, as did the towels. Sweeping was practically constant, I'd say, because of the number of people coming and going.
Later, there were some structural changes, but that sense of cleanliness remained. Just walking in, you felt the order; everything in its place, every space designated for a specific purpose was kept tidy.
Currently, I'm still very organized. Besides being tidy and clean, I always receive compliments about the peace and tranquility in my home. I also have stories with my children; instilling the importance of order wasn't easy, unlike how it was with my mother during my childhood and time at home. It's been a different story, especially with my daughter. There came a point when, seeing so much mess, I said, "I'm not going into this room anymore." She also has her own stories about when she used to clean and tidy her room. Of course, it caused a lot of trouble, until I decided to let her handle it herself. But I don't want clutter in my own spaces; that was my approach.
From a spiritual, mental, and all these perspectives, this theme is recurring because it has been shown that when there is inner order, it projects outward. When that order exists, things naturally seem simpler, and goals are achieved more easily.
Having order in our homes brings a sense of tranquility and peace. There are days when, for various reasons, we don't manage to get everything tidy; we keep putting it off for different reasons. But when we finally dedicate ourselves to tidying, putting away, and cleaning until we're completely satisfied, it leaves us with a wonderful feeling, a sense of relief, and of course, a space that makes us want to be there and enjoy it.
@Damarysvibra's reflection is 100% positive, both from a physical and spiritual point of view. Everything that comes with order—clothes, the kitchen, the refrigerator, shoes, cleaning supplies—is in its proper place. Since I was always a keen student, I was the type who, after finishing any schoolwork or academic activity, would tidy up, no matter the time of day or night, putting everything away in its designated spot. There was no trace left that the table had been covered in papers and books, that an academic battle had taken place there.
These days, I have my own space, which I call my office, where my laptop, containers of pencils, markers, erasers, scrap paper, and everything else are in its rightful place. About a month ago I dedicated myself to organizing and wow, how much paper I got rid of! The change was noticeable to me; I felt tranquility in my creative space.
