Lesser grass blue butterfly

in Nature Observeryesterday

In the quiet of the morning, I found a lesser grass blue butterfly perched on one of the tips of a leaf wet with dew. The butterfly looks very simple, the colors are simple and not striking. It is brownish gray in color decorated with black dots and there are several dark gray spots that blend together. On the edge of the wings there is a thin black line which adds an impression of elegance to the butterfly. This butterfly is one of the simplest butterflies I have ever encountered, but its aura is very peaceful when we look at it.

Behind the stunning simplicity there is a hidden journey that not everyone has seen. This beautiful butterfly comes from an egg laid behind a leaf by its mother which then turns into a caterpillar. When he becomes a caterpillar, that's where life's challenges begin. At that time he was not interesting, just a caterpillar that liked to eat plant leaves and was considered a nuisance. But predators are after him.

Caterpillars that pass all these tests will turn into cocoons. As long as he was in the cocoon, the tests of his life were running again. The caterpillar inside the cocoon cannot move, let alone eat, the space is too narrow, only the size of its body. I'm sure that in this phase the caterpillar always prays to quickly get out of the narrow room so that it can enjoy the beauty of the world.

After going through a long process, now he can see the beauty of the world again, he is present in a new version. Previously it was just a caterpillar that could only crawl on leaves, now it has wings and can fly here and there. In this phase he started to have fans, many admired him, especially macro photography lovers.
