Among the shady bushes on the fresh leaves I saw a small caterpillar that really stole my attention. He was very busy walking on the surface of the leaves, occasionally taking another route, namely the branches of the plant. He never stood still, kept moving. His movements were very agile, which was natural because his body was very small. It seemed like he was practicing walking at super sharp speed.
The caterpillar was very small, its bright color made it easy for me to find it. The base color of its body is bright orange yellow combined with black and white. Try to notice the black pattern on the left and right sides of its body, it is very beautiful, the pattern is in the form of two symmetrical rows that are neatly arranged along its body. On the black pattern there are white dots that resemble fake eyes.
With the naked eye, the white dots will not be visible. His entire body is also protected by long, fine hairs with the same color. This beautiful caterpillar is the larva of the nygmiine tussock moth, which in Latin is known as Orvasca subnotata. Namely one of the tiny creatures that comes from the Erebidae family.
