Hello everyone, good afternoon.....
I'm back here and still with the same topic, beautiful insects in the wild. Today I want to show you a homoeocerus unipunctatus insect standing on green leaves. Homoeocerus unipunctatus is one of the insects included in the genus of aphids from the coreidae family.
The insect looks very graceful standing there with its slender brown body, a pair of long and slightly curved antennae, thin and slender legs that make its appearance even more charming. Not only that, the pattern on its back is also very beautiful, like carvings on old wood. Judging from its beautiful appearance, this insect manages to blend perfectly with its surroundings.
Not only can it blend perfectly, but the insect also manages to camouflage perfectly. Of course thanks to its unique colors and patterns. This insect looks tame, but it is actually very wild. A little touched where it stands, it immediately leaves. But it doesn't go far, it can still monitor the original place.
This homoeocerus unipunctatus insect has a small body, but is very dangerous for plants. Because it is a sap-eating insect. If the number is small, the presence of this insect is beneficial for the plant, for the balance of the ecosystem. If they gather on a plant in large numbers, the effect is very fatal, the tree will slowly die. Because they suck sap with a large capacity.
