Green crested chameleon

in Nature Observer10 days ago

Among the dense undergrowth, a figure sat quietly, staring at me, perhaps observing my activities. Although he appeared very relaxed, he actually didn't want me to approach him any closer. When I approached, he immediately ran and hid somewhere out of my reach. Furthermore, his costume blended perfectly with his surroundings, making it even more difficult for me to locate the mysterious creature.

The mysterious creature was a green crested chameleon, or bronchocela cristatella in Latin, and belonged to the Agamidae family. Its body was very beautiful, long and slender. Its body was bright green, but when exposed to sunlight, the bright green turned a yellowish green. The tip of its tail was brown, resembling the color of twigs. Its eyes were also very beautiful, black mixed with brown. Another interesting feature were its fingers and toes. They appeared very flexible and long.

Bravo!

Here we both have the same abilities. I observe him and he observes me. Thank you for your comment.
