Among the dense green grass, I managed to spot a pair of grasshoppers in courtship. Their eyes kept darting toward me, and their antennae were frequently moving. It seemed they were discussing me. I didn't care. I continued to approach them cautiously. I kept watching as I walked. I kept walking, and finally, I reached the pair. Their gazes remained fixed on me. But this time, they stopped moving their antennae. They seemed more relaxed now. Perhaps they knew I wouldn't disturb or harm them.
They weren't just stopping there, they were continuing a tradition passed down through generations of previous generations. They were making a pact that their form and color would remain in this world, never to be interrupted, always present. They continued their ritual, unperturbed by my presence. But I remained vigilant, photographing them carefully.
