Gea heptagon spider

in Nature Observerlast month

Among the green leaves still wet with morning dew, I found a gea heptagon spider resting peacefully there. Resting while waiting for a delicious meal to arrive and enter its trap. There was a trap net near where it was resting. I saw that the net was still very smooth, it seemed like it had just been made by it. I tried to take a picture of the net but it didn't appear on my camera.

The spider I found was very small in size, but the pattern it had was very beautiful that made me unable to just pass it by. Look at the pattern, it was very beautiful, brown mixed with white, which looked like an ancient mask that held many mysteries. Its long, hairy legs made it look graceful when it touched the surface of the leaf. Not only that, but look at its gaze, it was so sharp as if it could penetrate the layers of time that nature had not spoken.

Hi. As always, your description is spot on. I felt I was there with you, between the freshness of the leaves and the stillness of the morning. I love how you manage to convey so much admiration for a creature so small and, for many of us, so unnoticed. That mixture between the delicate and the mysterious that you mention struck me as beautiful. As if the spider were a small guardian of the forest, wrapped in ancient secrets.

Thank you for sharing this very special encounter. Reading it and seeing those images was like peeking into a hidden corner of nature. Greetings.👋

Nature always has its own way to touch the soul. Glad to know you can feel into the little moments. Thank you dear for your warm comment.

Would you say this spider is poisonous?
I remember a motel I stayed in South Africa had a spider, a poisonous one, I was scared for the whole days that I was there

As far as I know, these spiders are not dangerous to humans. They have venom but they use it to paralyze their prey.

Okay, good they use it on preys
