Flesh fly

in Nature Observer5 hours ago

On a green stem covered with tiny thorns, a flesh fly stood quietly. It seemed to be enjoying the world from a quiet, often-forgotten corner. Its body color was beautiful, a silvery gray blending beautifully with the jet black. The red in its eyes made its appearance even more captivating. Its body shimmered in the sunlight. Furthermore, the fine hairs on its body were also captivating. The presence of these hairs provided a more interesting texture to observe.

To the average person, a fly would be the most annoying and disgusting creature. However, to us nature observers, this fly was extraordinary. It looked incredibly beautiful and worthy of a photograph. From this fly, I learned that what is often considered disgusting isn't necessarily ugly. Moreover, when encountered in a place like this, it didn't look disgusting at all. In fact, it looked stunning on my phone screen. The surrounding green foliage greatly enhanced the fly's appearance. The fly stood out against the dense green foliage that served as its backdrop.
