Flesh fly

in Nature Observer9 days ago

In the midst of the morning shade that was still wet with dew, I managed to find a beautiful creature enjoying a delicious breakfast. She was a flesh fly or in Latin known as Sarcophaga carnaria. Namely one of the beautiful flies that comes from the Sarcophagidae family. I saw the fly enjoying its breakfast very calmly on a euphorbia flower whose texture looked very soft like silk.

The flower where it landed was not only soft but its color was very calming like the rays of the sun that had just shone. It looks very simple but holds an elegance that is never spoken. Behind its simplicity, the flower managed to create a special stage for a small life that is often overlooked. One of them is the fly that I met.

The fly was very beautiful, dark gray in color decorated with black lines that looked firm. Its entire body was protected by fine hairs, with the naked eye the hairs would not be visible. A pair of transparent wings decorated with black lines with character. And a pair of big red eyes that were the center of attention. From a distance, his eyes are the most visible.

Basically, fly are creatures whose beauty is equivalent to other insects in general. However, it is a shame that her beauty is drowned out by her work. He likes dirty places, which is why many people look down on him.

Even irritating fly looks beautiful. I can't stand them for a seconds 😀

Be careful, might fall in love🤣

You made me admire fly in your pictures. I just don't like it because it's a pest

Yes, that's right. If we remember about him who likes to play in dirty places, it makes us disgusted. But on the other hand, when he is in a place like this, his charm makes us unable to look away. Thank you for your beautiful comment, dear.

Thank you, it's nice to receive appreciation like this.

One day my friend will have to explain what he does to keep the insects from running away when he takes pictures.
Any magic? 🤔😂

Actually, there is no special trick, it just requires extra patience and giving them space to feel safe. and don't forget to install the insect friend aura🤣

😂 Great 👏
