Dysdercus cingulatus

in Nature Observer16 days ago

When walking in the wild, we often miss something interesting, one of which is the dysdercus cingulatus insect like the one I found here. At that time she was standing gracefully on one of the grass leaves, she was very beautiful with a striking body color, which made me impatient to immediately approach her. She was very relaxed there enjoying the gentle breeze.

No matter how relaxed she acts, to approach her you still have to be very careful so as not to cause something that makes the beautiful figure surprised and go away. From a distance, all that was visible was orange, when I was near her I just saw that her costume was more than one color. Reddish orange, black and white, what a beautiful color combination, contrasting with the fresh green background.

If we look closely, the costume worn by this insect is similar to someone wearing a reddish orange suit with black buttons and a black tie. On the neck there is a white color that circles like a necklace. While the lower body is reddish orange combined with white. Long legs and long black antennae add an impression of elegance to the insect.
