Common lime butterfly

in Nature Observer14 days ago

At the tip of a chili plant branch, I found a common lime butterfly standing gracefully on a curled leaf. It stood there so calmly, as if it knew the world didn't always need to rush. It simply sat quietly, enjoying the silence of the ever-changing world.

Its wings were tightly closed, revealing a stunningly beautiful pattern. I'm sure everyone would be captivated by the beauty of its wing patterns. The pattern was like a painting patiently painted by nature. Soft cream, warm orange, bold black, and a hint of faint purple made everything seem more vivid. The harmonious color combination blended beautifully in one frame.

The wind blew gently, but the butterfly remained calmly standing on the leaf. Its thin legs seemed to grip the leaf's surface tightly. It was trying its best to maintain its balance. It seemed as if it knew that beauty isn't always about flying freely, simply standing still gracefully would captivate any eye that paused for a moment.

This butterfly is one of the easiest to find, it's everywhere, not necessarily in a specific location. As I found this one, it was in a local resident's chili garden. This butterfly is also medium-sized, easily visible from a distance.
