Bryony ladybird beetle

in Nature Observer11 days ago

On a smooth curve of a green stem I found a bryony ladybird beetle sitting there sweetly. It seemed like she was resting there while enjoying the tranquility of nature around her. Her body was very tiny, her bright color made it easy for me to find her. This beetle was brownish orange decorated with black dots on its back that looked like a natural painting. Very beautiful.

This little beetle seemed full of curiosity, look at her gaze straight at my camera. Her antennae also continued to move non-stop. While her legs gripped tightly on the stem where she was standing. Although she kept staring at my camera, she showed no signs that she was afraid of me. She stood there very calmly.

Or maybe that gaze signaled to me that she wanted me to take her picture. In fact, she remained faithful there until I left the place. But unfortunately the place where she stopped was quite high so I couldn't take pictures of other parts of her body. Only from the front. Even then I took the picture from a fairly long distance.

The fresh green leaves around it are the perfect backdrop for this tiny beetle. It looks graceful on my camera screen. In Latin, this beetle is known as henosepilachna argus, which is one of the tiny beetles from the Coccinellidae family.
