When exploring the outdoors such as parks, yards, gardens, wilderness and so on. Often we find beautiful creatures that escape attention, one of which is assassin bugs like the one I found. In Latin, this slender insect is known as euagoras plagiatus, which is one of the insects from the reduviidae family.
Its slender body and long legs make it look elegant standing on leaves that are starting to fade. Not only that, a pair of long antennas that exceed its body give a mysterious impression, as if the antennas were spies among the leaves. While I was near it, the antennas continued to move up and down non-stop.
I didn't have much success in taking pictures of it, the insect was very busy looking for a bite to eat. He continued to hunt other small insects that tried to approach the plant where he stopped. From here we can see that assassin bugs are very beneficial to the ecosystem. If you see insects like the ones I found in your garden, don't rush to eradicate them because they will help you repel pests.
