When the world was still wet with cool morning dew, I took a moment to go out into the wild to breathe fresh air. At that time, my eyes accidentally glanced at someone who was sitting sweetly on a young plant branch. She was very beautiful in black and yellow. When I saw her, my heart immediately beat fast, impatient to be near her.
She is the Apodynerus formosensis wasp from the Vespidae family. The wasp is very small in size, about the size of a toothpick. Small when viewed by the human eye but its role is extraordinary. I am sure that behind its tiny body there is a story that is bigger than its size.
The basic color of this wasp is shiny black decorated with lines and several characteristic spots in yellow. The bright yellow color is not only to beautify the color of its body, but the color is a form of warning to predators provided by nature that never fails.
Its pair of transparent wings are also no less interesting, the wings are very thin and decorated with characteristic black lines. When the sun shines on its body, the wings sparkle like gems. Although very thin, the wings are very strong to fly far. But this morning he did not fly, choosing to relax on the branch.
