Coriolopsis gallica is the Latin name for this unique mushroom. A mushroom that has a hollow flesh structure and even resembles a honeycomb or wasp.
This type of mushroom has various color variations. Such as brown, gray and yellowish white as I show here.
It has a rather hard texture, but not like the hardness of wood. There is a little flexibility too. However, this mushroom can stick very strongly to the object it grows on.
This type of mushroom does not grow in the soil. So far I have found it growing on rotting wood. Sometimes mushrooms are also larger than what you see here. The shape varies. Some are like plates, rectangles and irregular circles.
