While wandering in nature we often come across some beautiful biological elements that fascinate our minds Recently I discovered a mushroom that was growing on an old tree While taking a picture of this mushroom I realized that a silent art of nature has emerged here This mushroom is called Ganoderma which is a type of bracket fungus It usually grows on dead or dying trees and its shape and structure are very special It is also sometimes called Reishi Mushroom or Lingzhi especially for its Chinese medicinal properties The one you see in the picture seems to be a type of Ganoderma species.
This mushroom has a smooth shiny white layer on top and the bottom has gradually turned brown or orange The whole structure looks like a small umbrella or bell which is glued to the tree It is as beautiful to look at on one side as it is admirable in its structure It is as if nature has scratched the canvas with its own hands The dark lines on it become thicker and more beautiful over time which turns the mushroom into a natural ornament Ganoderma is not only beautiful to look at but it has also been used as a natural medicine for many years Especially in China Korea and Japan this mushroom is used as a medicine to increase longevity and immunity.
However this wild mushroom is usually not suitable for food it can only be processed and used The beauty of this mushroom has given me a new perspective on nature We often think of flowers fruits or large trees as forms of nature but how beautiful a small mushroom can be is not understood without seeing it with our own eyes It reminds us that beauty is hidden in every element of nature it just takes attention and love to see it Ganoderma mushroom is not just a simple fungus growing on a tree it is a silent work of art of nature Its color structure and silent presence teach us new lessons in patience tolerance and appreciation of beauty Capturing a mushroom like this is not just a photographic moment but a wonderful experience of capturing a piece of nature.
