When this insect flew beside me, I thought it was a mosquito, but I was surprised because this insect was relatively large, especially when it was flying. I continued to look and pay attention to this insect and not long after, this insect landed on the oil palm leaves, that's when I realized that this was not a mosquito but a fly.In my area, this insect is often called a predator fly, unlike most flies in general, this fly has a more unique way of looking for food.

If you look at its shape, this insect looks a bit like a grasshopper, because it has two large legs for jumping, but to make sure I also looked for information about this insect on Google, and it is true that this is a predatory fly. I like its unique shape, but not its color.
What makes me curious is whether this insect is dangerous to humans or not, whether this insect can sting like a wasp or is it not dangerous at all, I don't dare to touch it because I don't know anything about this insect, its size is also very small so I have to use a macro lens to photograph it.
